Finally decided to try to organize my tools. I got a 5-drawer tool cart on sale at Harbor Freight for $199. It actually has ball bearing drawers, not the crappy steel on steel sliders. The 14 gauge steel is very sturdy (it has a 700lb load capacity.) Very happy with the quality.

Yes I riced it out as soon as I finished putting it together.

Still working on getting everything organized. Need to work out how I want to keep all the sockets.

Nice, Steve. I need to expand my wrench collection, badly. I got that extreme access ratchet set, though!

Needs moar stickers.

Gonna swing back by HF today to pick up their magnetic glove dispenser tray and a magnetic catch tray. I don't have one and realize I really need one to keep everything I take off the car from getting lost. :icon17:

I really like HF. I prefer Craftsman/Kobalt/SnapOn, etc, but sometimes you just get lucky and the $19 ratcheting wrench set you bought at HF turns out to be super beefy and lasts forever. And if it doesn't... oh well. :rofl2:

m4a1mustang 01-30-2013 08:59 AM

This reminds me... I need to pick up a few more ratchets. IDK if I will go with HF for those, though.

I've got a few of their sockets, wrenches, and even ratcheting wrenches and have been pleased so far.

eastwest2300 01-30-2013 09:29 AM

I bought a long azz extension to get the demon bolt off and snapped the head of the extension off into the socket... epic fail, I ended up having to return the extension twice.

m4a1mustang 01-30-2013 09:30 AM

I can see that. I have like $150 worth of Craftsman extensions. :icon17:

eastwest2300 01-30-2013 09:41 AM

Ohh dude it was serious bullsh1t, but luckily as long as you have a reciept they'll swap it out.
