1) Don't schedule cruises on Saturdays

2) If a cruise is scheduled on a Saturday keep it relevant to that weekend's regular meet. So VA-area cruises would happen on VA meet weekends and vice versa for MD-area cruises.

Expanding further on #2, it might be a good idea to have a cruise departure around 10:30-11am or so such that the regular coffee meet could still take place. Someone wanting to attend the meet but not the cruise could still come by and see everyone. Then maybe you'd have a group running off for the cruise while others go home or go grab lunch etc.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Also, maybe 10AM is not a good time to meet for some people. It seems to work well for VA, but is another time better for MD? Think people!

1) No. Saturday is the perfect day, especially with football starting this week and people having to work on weekdays.

2) This is probably the best way to do it. We can make exceptions if there are holidays or something, like we did with the BBQ being close to 4th of July.

3) 10 AM is fine for coffee meets, people have just been busy lately and we've had other stuff planned on MD meet days.

That's what I thought.

I'll see whoever is in MD on Saturday. I would actually prefer to have the meets on Monday at 6:30AM. I believe this could be fun because we could all see who could come up with the most original excuse to take off work and also to see how long it takes each of us to make it to the meet while dodging traffic and the like. Could be a like Top Gear episode but less fun. Or not.

how about if anyone wants to cruize.. shoot me a note.. i'll go almost any time :)

Shedule cruises for any time you like. I just think we ought to still have the coffee meets for whoever wants to show. That's all I was saying.

Not just cruises, I think it should go for any scheduled event. Still plan to have a coffee meet unless otherwise stated.

I don't like having 3 consecutive meets in either of the two states. I'd like to keep alternating.

On that note, we need to schedule another dinner at Old Stein Inn. I really, really liked that place.

I'd like to to there with you and put some sausage in my mouth. And while we're there, we can also get German cuisine

We have all been. I've been out of town quite a considerable amount.

I'm going to be at Columbia this Saturday if anyone wants to come out. There is also a Cruise starting at the normal FFX meeting time and location if anyone wants to go there.

I should be able to make the Columbia meet this Saturday. It's been a while for me, my travel schedule has finally slowed down.

2012 GT-R cruise is being held on the 29th of this month, which is a FFX meet day. Even if you don't want to cruise, you can come hang out and get to check out some amazing cars. Last time we did this we basically had a cars/coffee type thing where we hung out for about an hour or so then headed out for the cruise. Finished with a nice BBQ for lunch.
