I honestly don't understand why they put the Camry motor in the TC. They had a perfectly good donor motor out of the old Celica GTS. I mean they managed to shoehorn the GTS motor in the Corolla XRS.

I'm not sure why... I guess they wanted the 2.4L, wasn't the GTS Celica motor only a 1.8L? It put out 180hp vs the tC's 160. (Granted now it has 180 with the 2AZFR?? :ugh2:

Yeah it put out 180hp but it revved to the sky like the AP1 S2K motor.

Then again, Honda is now the new stupid. First mistake was not making the CR-Z a true sport compact (needs a K20A under the hood). Second mistake was neutering the current Si redline by putting the 2.4L in there.
