To be fair though, that was one idiot out of 30+ on the cruise. As far as I know everyone else was ok, at least in my group they were. It was still fun though.

This is a good point. You can't control what one person in a group is going to do. Even if you say up front, "We're not out here to hoon it, obey speed limits plz", some guy will invariably goon it up. All you can do on those cruises is take responsibility for your own driving habits.

I wouldnt want to associate with that at all. New money, no skill drivers. Nevermind extremely dangerous. If I saw that happening I'd strongly consider bugging out immediately. Yes, we break speed limit laws on cruises - I'll never disagree with that. But WILLFULLY putting others in danger by crossing solid lines at probably near triple digit speeds? Foolish.

Yes everyone was warned at the beginning to act responsibly. Bert and I went in the first group and there we didn't see anything like this going on.

I didn't personally see that happen or even find out about it till after we finished the cruise.

Well he did do something really stupid, so he kinda deserves it. But I would hate it if that happened to me and it went all over the internet.

Well, it was idiotic behavior, but I can see your point. It was a moment of stupidity, he damaged his baby, and now he's got to deal with being called a moron everywhere. Not good for him.

Better to be called a moron by the internet than hitting an oncoming vehicle and to be possibly called a murderer (and also Tiny's prison shower buddy).

I felt bad for him the day of the cruise attributing it to him not being used to the awesome powah of the GTR but after seeing this, nope, not a single fvck was given.

Also the other GTR owner not even stopping to go check up on the fool :shakes head: The immaturity and ghettoness of some of the $100000+ GTR owners shocked me. Ain't gonna lie.

Money doesn't buy class (or common sense and driving skill either).

I see that the word "bishes" is absent from this list, and as it should be, because they can be had for pretty cheap.

Uhhhh, hahaha...Hell-O, Jon...these are PERFORMANCE cars. They don't SEE the light of day from the point of view of a racetrack - they just talk about it to their buddies and go back to the garage they came from.

I don't think anyone was expecting it to be anywhere near as big as it was. When we did this last year, we had about as many cars as one of our larger cruises. Attendance just kind of blew up in the last 2 weeks and it was too late to do anything by then. Talking to the organizer there, he did mention that he wanted to do some organized track events next year.

So who's coming out to Columbia this Saturday? I should be there if it's not raining.
