Dude, actually I dont even worry about getting pulled over for tint, the chances are pretty low when you think about it, a lot of these jurisdictions dont have the technology to check.

Don't know about that one...

... I've been snagged twice for tint on my car and once for no front license plate. In the People's Republic of Maryland, Big Brother is always watching... and these items were the only reason I was pulled over.

yes, I should learn but I can't.

Dude, where the heck do you stay at? I put the actual license plate on the dash, and havent been pulled over for it yet.. I guess, I've been lucky so far.

I think you missed this comment:

"second reckless driving ticket in VA within in a few months"

That....along with whatever was happening to cause it to be considered "reckless" is the issue. Not that he was only going 12 over. Yes, in VA they generally ticket you for reckless when going 20 over.....but two reckless tickets in the same year, within a few months......kiss your license goodbye. And I will say this, too......it's possible when the cops checked and saw he had already been caught for reckless before, they used him as an example. I won't deny that it really depends on the officer who stops you.

eastwest2300 01-30-2012 10:25 PM

Damn, that sucks... wow man, good luck to him.

Anyway anything over 80mph is reckless driving in VA.
