Was pretty blah and way too crowded, so I left early. Had some issues with my 60' times possibly because my new tires aren't completely broken in yet. Best I could manage was a 13.19 @ 107.4. Highest trap speed of the day was 108.6.

That's still pretty damn good. Hopefully a few can make it out one last time before it's too cold.

Yeah its good, but I was expecting better. Going to Capitol Raceway sometime in November.

what were the temp's like that night you ran?

Masa 10-23-2011 09:38 PM

13.1 and this was with your passenger seat off right? How many miles have you put on your 275's before going up there? I'm thinking it may be the tires as well.

Yeah I had the passenger seat, spare tire, and tools out of the car. I had about 300 miles on the tires when I ran. I usually pull like at least 2.0x 60' times, but I was doing 2.2-2.3 this time.

Ryan will likely have a built motor by then and more boost. Good luck!

And it's getting nice & cool down here in FL now. Hopefully I'll have a chance to make a few passes soon.

Yeah but I'm planning on waiting for the R36 GT-R which should be a whole new level of beast! The AWD and launch control help a lot too.

Hope you can get out there and get some good times. I would be happy to just beat my stock time :bowrofl:

I won't quit until I reach my goal. Luckily I race all winter long down here in FL.

You need to get out there again, your local track probably closes for the season in a few weeks.

Yeah I'm definitely planning on going one more time before the season ends. Just need to figure out exactly when to go. One of my friends here just chipped his 335 for 410 whp and wants to go to the drag strip for the first time so I'm gonna try to figure out what our schedules are like for the next few weeks.

So what is your goal for the Z?
