Default Retired my Z today...

Well I couldn't take it anymore.

Having to either drive my Z or my full bolt on Civic Si on coils daily to and from work in DC-Metro area traffic was killing me. So I got rid of the Civic and got a new DD.

The Z is now designated as a weekend toy.

I present to you my new DD beast... 2012 Altima
The ride is quiet and smooth and the car is zzZZzzZzz perfect for the daily grind.

The best part is I can now go rob a bank and then drive away and blend into traffic easily evading law enforcement.

That's a nice DD! Altima or Maxima are on my list for next family hauler. Right now I have to settle for a POS Pontiac G6 GT for my DD duties, snore!

Anyhow... We need some interior shots!

Thanks guys! I was really sold on the soft, comfy ride and quiet cabin. What really surprised me was the trunk space. You can literally fit two full grown adult bodies in the back or something of similar volume...

hahaha great job with the Altima Masa, you'll love the CVT transmission on that car. You have the best color too, PW FTMW I have the same one SL fully loaded and it is always a huge change switching back and forth. OMG what a smooth ride, OMG it's so quiet, OMG it's huge (that's what she said ), OMG heated seats LMAO.

You are now ready for this...

Very nice DD. I almost leased a Altima instead of my Versa as a DD, but the Versa was sooooooo much cheaper I could not resit. But the Altima was the much better car.

Yea I was looking at the Versa too but since I tend to keep the cars I purchase I went ahead with the bigger trunk and rear seats for future proofing should anything arise as I will not give up my Z.
CVT is nice and smooth, brakes are strong, ride is comfortable and cabin is super quiet.

Congrats on the purchase Ron!

The title of the thread kind of scared me for a bit, I thought you got rid of the Z

Is it the 2.5 or the 3.5?

I used to have a 2010 Maxima last year, it is a great DD/family car to those who are interested and fun to drive as well. I definitely recommend it

Oh yeah Bert, the Touring Z comes with heated seats
