Called to make a reservation and the only thing left was a tent. Maybe it's me:-). I ended up getting a room at the Microtel which is supposed to be a half-hour away.

yea unfortunately there really isn't anything nearby. it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, which is why it's so awesome. the microtel is in robinsville. the good news is there are two good routes to get to FVR that will make the drive there and back entertaining. the bad news is that means you can't take advantage of the drinking/partying/beer pong/stonehenge craziness/women quality events that go on at night for those who stay "on campus"
