Still undecided if I will make it this year... I guess it all depends on what happens with my car.

If you can afford it you should come in a yugo if necessary! You know how much fun it is Z or no Z. :)

I'm in a much better financial position at this time than I was last year. It's just a matter of what car I will have. I can't imagine driving 1200 miles to not get to enjoy the dragon.

That's actually one of the cars I'm looking into. If I do it, th interior will be the first thing I mod. It's too plasticy and boring. I'm also looking at a V10...but 15 years old :/

Ah... Viper. I like those cars. Not so sure what the ownership is like on the older ones vs. new.

Z06 interior... I hear ya. The newer ones... around '08+ or so are pretty good as far as materials go, but it's just very boring. I'd have a bunch of stuff wrapped in leather or alcantara and stitched up real nice if it was a car I was going to be spending a lot of time in.

My thoughts exactly. My past 2 cars have been wrapped in Alcantara and I plan to keep that tradition going. Regarding the Viper, it was my dream car when I was a kid. My parents even took me to visit the Conner Ave assembly plant back in 2000. I was 15 at the time, standing in a warehouse full of Vipers/Prowlers. I was in heaven. It's no longer my dream car, but now affordable. I found a 2000 blk/blk with 30k miles for only $38k...but I want to hold out for a '96 blue/white GTS, which go for around 10k more :/

Same with me. Love the old style. It was the coolest car around when I was a kid. I'd love to get my hands on one some day just so I can look back and say I had one.

how much will the 2013 GT500 be? For that money you can get one of those.

With market adjustment I would expect to pay $80k initially...

I like the GT500 but I'm not paying $80k for one. :icon17:
