The Lodge is alright. It's just your basic hotel room, and the only spot for wifi in the resort last year was the Lodge.

I'm trying out the Cabin this year to see what it's like. I may end up going back to a Lodge room for 2013 if I don't like it, or if I'm staying alone. Lot of different factors in that.

do you guys like the cabins or the lodge rooms better? just so i know what to get for next year.

Depends on what you want. Cabin is cool because you get dedicated parking and you don't feel like you're at a hotel. Renovated cabins are pretty nice. The one I stayed in last year wasn't that great.

thanks for the info. i like the dedicated parking thing since there is what like almost 600 pre registered this year? lol and its a place to sleep, shower, sht, and drink so it doesn't have to be a luxury suite lol

Also, the cabins have full kitchens, so you can stock up on food and not have to wait hours to get a burger from the grill.

My cabin was nice besides the ants.
But I had a new renovated kitchen, LCD on the wall, it was nice.

this is a big plus lol hopefully they have decent size fridge for beverages lol

That's nice. I hated having to drive up to the lobby to read emails. But it was a nice quite morning with coffee on the deck over looking the pool.
