Yep. You just want to make sure you bring a mix of summer/spring clothes so you've got stuff if it gets hot. And you definitely want pants, a hoodie and/or a light jacket for the night time. It can get chilly... but we usually keep enough antifreeze in the system to stay warm. :D

red6spd 12-12-2011 02:32 PM

I was told that this years event was the best weather they have ever had.

b1adesofcha0s 12-12-2011 02:33 PM

Yeah don't worry about it, Steve will keep you warm......:ugh2:

HKYStormFront 12-12-2011 02:42 PM

yea this year was great but the last two years were more like 90's and humid. we got lucky this year

Ron 12-12-2011 04:37 PM

So where/how do I reserve? This would be my first ZdayZ, I missed this year's and I've been waiting for the next one. Should have the nismo in pretty nice shape by then!

Call Fontana Village as soon as possible. A lot of people did thier reservation before leaving ZdayZ this year.

Mention ZdayZ 2012, they always have some cabins or rooms separated for the event or place your name on the list for people that cancel for any reason. GL

Then check the ZdayZ website or FB page for the event registration next year.

Yeah they know. Let them know you are with ZDayZ if they don't ask so you can get the group rate.

Ron 12-12-2011 08:08 PM

Thanks Steve, I will.

Ron 12-12-2011 09:09 PM

Don't care, 16hr drive plus stops. I've never been to a ZdayZ but always wanted to. Moved to the US permanently last year so now I get to go :)

You'll be on the road for less than 16hrs, no problem. You'll pick up a ton of time from meridian to Chattanooga....average traffic speeds are 80+ through there. I bet it's a 14 hour drive if you stick to 5-7 over.

If you don't have a caravan yet, the Huntsville group will be rolling through Chattanooga as well:ugh2:

Ron 12-15-2011 12:22 PM

Thanks Dan, who's on the Hunstville group?

Don't know who's going for sure this year. Last year there were 3-4 guys that went, hopefully the turnout will be better this year

Ron 12-15-2011 12:56 PM

Alright. I'll talk to the Z Club of Houston. With enough time we should be able to gather some more people.

eastwest2300 12-16-2011 09:16 AM

So theres gonna be people from Houston, Maryland and Virginia...lol, NICE!

They obviously have to hide their Canadianness.

eastwest2300 12-16-2011 09:25 AM

Women from Canada are HOTT, they should be allowed to come.

If you book early enough, yes. There are a lot of rooms at the Lodge and there are a lot of cabins as well. Lots of people share cabins or lodge rooms.

There are also a lot of people that stay at the resort that aren't even associated with the event. Last year the two cabins next door to mine and the one across the street were full of motorcyclists that obviously weren't associated with ZDayZ.
