Updated post.

NOVEMBER 13th

Hey all. I met some cool folks on my last drive back from St.Louis in G ZILLA. I met the Ohio Scion crew. Since then I joined their forum and become a semi active participant. Well trolling through their forums I saw where they did a Charity Event that caught my eye.

OhioScions.com: Serving you first, since 2004!*

Here is how it works:

$1 Dollar Donation (minimum)

or

1 HotWheel Donation

Deliver to Childrens Hospital

my spin and addition is...

Once collected or at the collection of Hotwheels, we either have a meet to take a group photo

Drive to the Childrens Hospital to deliver

Anyways, i know EVERYONE ON HERE has at least $1 dollar, so what do yall say? The amount you give is totally up to you to disclose, all I ask for is input on the Options and if you are in or not.

Thanks,

Gotta love the kids.

Richmond

November 13th Days Event Schedule- All day event!
:icon11:
November 13

Bring Hand Held Radios if you have them....we will do our best to keep the group together, however you all should have this printed out in you car before going.

FOR NOVA FOLKS!
Meet up at Springfield Mall, I95 side on the outer most part of the parking lot, closet to I95, early because its a Saturday... depart at 9:15am...we will not wait for anyone under any circumstances. We will be driving the speed limit so you should be able to catch us or meet us at the Park or one of the other locations. Do yourself a favor and print out the directions so you at least have them in the car with you. Be responsible if you dont have Nav on your phone or car, then you shouldnt be late. (trust me we dont want to be late leaving to Richmond on I95S on a Saturday...could be a 3 hour tour like Gilligans Island seriously)

From the North or Washington: I-395 South to I-95 South. Take the Springfield/Franconia exit #169A (Rt 644E). At the first light turn right and the mall is on your left, then first left at the first light, left again at the T, and left again into the outer most parking areas from the mall. (watch out for HUGE pot hole)

From the South or Richmond: I-95 North to exit 169 A; Proceed straight ahead and the mall is on the right, make first right,
see the best buy side? Frontier drive! (however this is the east side of the Mall, you need to get to the West side closer to I95) drive around...lol

Richmond SOVA, NOVA, ALL FOLKS
Arrive in Richmond around lunch time, meet up with Richmond crew at The Pearson Infiniti Dealership at 1130 am:

The Pearson Infiniti Dealership at 1130 am
8301 West Broad Street

lolly gag for a brief period of time. (should only be there for 20-30 minutes.)

THEN

MayMount/William Byrd Park
same park connected!
Google Maps
open view wider look for the lakes...we will be near the two lakes for photos! Shields Lake Ct. Richmond, VA

From Interstates 64 & 95
• Take the Boulevard exit #78 (Route 161)
• Go south on the Boulevard (Route 161) for two miles to the Columbus statue
• Turn right at Grant Street/Blanton Avenue (Route 161) and go 3/10th mile to the Carillon monument
• Turn left at Park Drive (Route 161) and go 3/10th mile
• Turn left at Shirley Lane (last left before the Boulevard Bridge) and go one block (past the Children's Farm entrance)
• Bear left (not the hard left onto Westover Road) and go one block into Byrd Park
• Turn right at Shields Lake Drive and continue around the lake to the Nature & Visitor Center parking lot on the right

Head to Richmond Childrens Hospital to deliver funds and or gifts. (quickly):icon38:

You are all adults and are responsible for your own vehicles, conduct, and behaivor, I am not your parent nor do I plan to act like it, however being dumb will get you either braces for Christmas or your car inpounded, depending on how dumb you are. I enjoy driving my whip and will most likely have my son with me. Drive withing the rules and regulations of each state, city, and county.

Bump, updated first post with final plans for the day.

Guys its a great event, I know the MD crew is pretty active and I've seen plenty of 370's around the VA area too. It would be a great opportunity for us to get the two communities together, I would love to see more 370/G37 meets in the future.

Hey just wanted to say thanks for the invite Namir. I'm surprised you didn't get a single bite here. I thought about it, but just have too much going on for a full day's drive back and forth to Richmond. Good luck with it though!

Thanks for the reply, I'm just trying to get the two communities together. Don't understand why there is this unspoken animosity between Z and G guys. I'm sure if it were the National "Z" Club hosting there would probably be a lot more responses.

Oh well, invitiation still stands. We'll be at Pearson Infiniti at 1130am. Meeting at Aunt Sarah's pancake house before hand for some breakfast. Feel free to PM me for info

If I had my Z back in time, I would have jumped on this. Unfortunately I won't have it back until next Wednesday (at best) but it will most likely still be another week.

I don't believe there's any animosity. I've hung out with plenty of 350z and G guys and gals.

Edit: Well if the dikc in the G37 that cut cut me off this morning with his douchebagary grin on his face was in the G club that might be a different story. ;-)
