Mine is dirty right now but if we get a break in the rain I will wash it tomorrow and leave it in the garage overnight. Granted we are supposed to see some rain on the way down on Wednesday so I'll probably have to wash it there. Not gonna use the wash bay, I'll leave that for the Z's, but I think I have come up with another wash solution at my cabin. :icon17:

Also, I don't remember Jon's (ZCarman's) cabin having a grill last year. Both of us are bringing portable charcoal grills for our group.

We'll have to have a filth-off.

I predict Juno will be in the running for winning the "filth-off".

Yeah, that's my thoughts. I don't want to pretty her up when I know she'll be dirty in fontana.

If we get a break in the weather I am still going to wash mine and apply another coat of wax, even though I know it will get dirty along the way down.

I'm hesitant to put any painters tape or anything on the car for the way down if we are going to be driving in the rain... I'm not sure how well that would hold up.

shadoquad 05-17-2011 06:54 AM

lol I can't even put wax on my car. No wax, no clear bra, no black bra. It'd be said if it weren't so damn funny.

Just pull the front bumper off and ship it to Fontana Village. Let those Injens breathe!!! :icon18:

At least with a good coating of wax you can give it a whores bath with spray detailer...

I think I'm going to do a multi-bucket wash at the cabin. I don't want my 5.h0 whoring up the wash bays for the Zs, so I am just going to bring a 5 gallon bucket with me. GMTraitor is going to do the same with his Maxima. One of us washes, the other fills up the buckets. :icon17:

hahaha.

I think washing and waxing my car is my least favorite thing to do to it. ******* brake dust.

Yeah, gonna be a bit more effort, but if we have plenty of shade to wash the cars, won't be too bad.

Lugging a 5 gallon bucket of water after 5 trips might get tiresome though :bowrofl:
