I don't wait unitil the last day for the dragon, my car will be up there first thing the next morning after arrival. ;)

Heck, I will be the one seeing how many runs I can get in on the first afternoon/evening.

I want my average MPG to be around 4mpg by the time I leave....

Oh and I will have at least an oil cooler installed by then... Though I hope for the stage 2 GTM SC....

Well after a 10 hrs of drive I think a good rest and a drink will be the best. Then wake up early next morning. ;)

Most people get their late Thursday, we will be their Wednesday. ;)

I'll do the Dragon on Thursday and Friday, then go find some other roads.

I agree -- the skyway is "scary fun fast" -- was a little foggy near the top (actually guess them were cloud bottoms) - but was able to get some good speed in several spots.....Within the posted speed limits of course......

I will try to do the Skyway too, hopefully the weather will be a little better this year in the morning.

Anybody know if any of the "nearby" places are close enough to make staying there worthwhile?

I'm on my way to work so sorry I cant get you the exact names, but there are several places close to the "Dragon" and the "FVR" Just go on the Tail of the Dragons website and you should be able to find a list of hotels and resorts close by. :tup:
