It might be easier to find the 1 tire to complete the set of 3 you have now...

It reminds me of when I deployed to Africa and on the camp we were at, they told us about the Camel spiders. They are nasty and ugly looking buggers. I remember one day some of the guys in a particular tent (we lived in tents), they had one in their 16 man tent. The floors in the tent were plywood so they heard it running across the floor in the dark. My buddy said it was hilarious because all several of the soldiers were standing on their bunks scared sh!tless! Thankfully I never came across one my entire time there. Just regular spiders thankfully.

Here is a pic of two Camel spiders in Iraq:

I feel the same way about Lenny Kravitz, he's sucha badass and a pimp.

shadoquad 04-11-2013 06:50 PM

muse and lenny kravitz are both very talented acts. :)

When Muse announced their US tour they skipped Philly and DC and I was pissed. Last week they announced a 2nd tour leg in September and they're hitting both (I will also hit both).

I also left the part where I'm a grown-*** man and I"m a member of the Muse fan club so I qualified for pre-sale tickets.

Ah. Good. I got an email from the 930 re: presale and was wondering if you'd had access to that info.

m4a1mustang 04-11-2013 07:20 PM

I ******* LOVE muse!

dmhenderson 04-11-2013 07:50 PM

If you haven't seen them live, you need to. It's insanity. This will be the 11th time I've seen them live.

I can still get tickets if anyone wants them but all the GA tickets are gone :(
The rest of the tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am I think. I got to skip all of the ticketmaster fees etc which was pretty nice.

I need to man... I need to.

I gotta say though... I'm not impressed with the latest album. Give me more of Showbiz, Origin of Symmetry, Absolution... everything but 2nd Law.

dmhenderson 04-11-2013 09:28 PM

My first "real" concert was Guns'N Roses/Faith No More/Metallica (Use your Illusion tour) at the old Cap Center after I had just moved to Maryland. 2nd was Stabbing Westward and Machines of Loving Grace at the old 9:30 Club across the street from 5th Column :3

I didn't like Black Holes & Revelations much.
Absolution and OoS are my favorites but every single album has awesome music on it. Resistance was also fantastic come to think of it.

2nd Law (reference to the 2nd law of thermodynamics: Entropy because Matt Bellamy is a conspiracy nut) is a hit or miss album. HEAVILY influenced by Prince and Queen so it's a love/hate thing. If Panic Station doesn't make you want to dance, there's probably something wrong with you. Madness is also a really fantastic tune. Shame the radio is ruining it.

I remember seeing Muse at the Recher theater in Towson right before Absolution came out. The place was half empty and I was just floored.

I mean do this with another band and see what happens:

Showbiz: Sunburn, Falling Down, Sober
OoS: Whole freaking album
Absolution: Whole freaking album except Blackout
Black Holes: Supermassive is great live, Knights of Cydonia, Assassin, City of Delusion
Resistance: Uprising, Resistance, MK motherf'ing ultra, Unnatural Selection, Guiding Light
2nd Law: Madness, Panic Station, Animals

I started listing favorite songs and realized that was kinda sad but my #1 is still Time is Running Out.

dmhenderson 04-11-2013 10:20 PM

Hmmm I think...he may be doing it wrong:
