WTF? Why would you replace tires that have 60% life left with the same exact tire? That's just stupid and a huge waste of money, especially considering how long the PSS are supposed to last. Just get the rears!

This is what I'm looking at right now.

$750 + shipping from TR for 2 rears 295/30-19

$820 from DiscountTireDirect, free shipping, and free replacement certificates for same size...

Hmmm...

b1adesofcha0s 02-27-2013 09:58 PM

And that's why I'm glad I don't have 19's. Got all 4 of mine for $1100 mounted.

XwChriswX 02-27-2013 10:00 PM

If I could get a set of Wedsport TC105N's, or Enkei PF01's in 18's and proper offsets, I'd have those. Perhaps even a set of TE37SL's...

b1adesofcha0s 02-27-2013 10:06 PM

Bobo said he just bought a set of PF01's, 18x9.5. Idk what the offsets were.

Will chieuxuan (Agency) and Henry (aam 2.5) be at the columbia meet this weekend?

dmhenderson 03-03-2013 05:05 PM

I think attendance will depend heavily upon what the weather does Wednesday.

b1adesofcha0s 03-03-2013 05:17 PM

That and chieuxuan = Henry :p

chieuxuan 03-03-2013 07:34 PM

Yes, I'll be there depends on weather coming this Sat.:hello:

NissanGuy23 03-03-2013 10:46 PM

Who has the aam true dual?

i was thinking of going with them, because it sounds good and doesn't seem crazy loud

b1adesofcha0s 03-03-2013 10:51 PM

I know Andrew (4r3s) and Jon (ZCarMan) have them. Not sure who else....

chieuxuan 03-04-2013 06:57 AM

Loud and raspy. Very loud and raspy. They are made to be muffled by the turbo's, not the exhaust. So with no turbos acting as mufflers, very loud and raspy.

Was going to say something similar but exhaust notes are personal taste really. IMO the best sounding exhausts with solid gains are FI and Meister-whatever with the latter being silly expensive for what you get out of it.

The AAM short tails sound great without the signifiant performance bump.

The AAM short tails are different from the AAM 2.5 true dual that he is considering.

dmhenderson 03-05-2013 08:18 AM

I haven't seen one of those up close yet

I was listening to the Ti-C and didnt hear rasp sounds like it has a really low throaty sound?

Andrew (im also Andrew), will you be at Columbia Sat?

Edit: just re-listened to the aam true dual and Ti-C, i can hear the rasp on the Ti-C but its a nice throaty rasp i love it. But the one i heard was with TPs. The aam is very deep and rumbly

Hadn't planned on it, but if you're planning on making the trip down I'll make a point to stop by. Just let me know. A pm would work better, some of these threads can suddenly blow up with pages of posts and I don't particularly make a point to go read through all the non-sense.

Bummer if you own a Challenger:

DETROIT (AP) -- Chrysler is telling owners of about 2,500 Dodge Challenger muscle cars with V-6 engines not to drive them because a short in a wiring circuit can set them on fire.

4r3s 03-18-2013 02:56 PM

An article with some more details, looks like Chrysler really screwed the pooch on this one.
