Sweet kit for anyone looking for a rear and front camera combo if you have Navi, this definitely takes the guess work out of how far you are from curbs or anything else.

Are you coming this Saturday? Can I get a ride in the GTR??!! :)

My friend who rode with you hasnt shut up about how bad a$$ that car is. He gets in my car and says how crappy it is compared to yours LOL.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know that Jomer of FBNISSAN right here on the forums, is excellent. Ive bought all my aftermarket parts from him and he beats everybody else's prices here on the forums. I talk to him all the time on aim during the day and can vouch for his excellent customer service. I am going to buy some stillen sway bars from him tomorrow for a fantastic price. For in-stock parts, if you order before 2 or 3pm youll get them next day since hes right next to us in PA. I have no affiliation with Fred Beans Parts, I just want to let you guys know that if you want the absolute best prices, go to Jomer here on the forums.

theyre on the listed vendors here, FBNISSAN, DO NOT buy from the website, (OEM Automotive Parts| Performance Parts & Aftermarket Accessories Subaru, Nissan, Ford, Chevy, Jeep, Mitsubishi )you need to contact Jomer directly. Look here for his contact info on his profile, http://www.the370z.com/fred-beans-pa...t-curious.html I use aim the most to contact him. I have found new parts for cheaper than some guys post them used in the F/S section.

dont forget to tell him (if you use aim) that you are on the forums so he can give you the best price.

Well lets just say that when I was searching for my gemini cbe, I pm'd pretty much every forum sponsor and they were about the same price, then when he replied back to me, it was literally 40 bucks cheaper than everywhere else.

I just installed my GT-R button, about a 15 minute install, and it looks sharp, I like it!

Cristobal09 12-09-2011 01:49 PM

I was thinking of doing this as well, does it light up? Where did you get it from?

Ummm, I dont think it lights up per say like the factory one, but lettering on the button itself is illuminated. I got it from a forum member on here.. "for sale" section. I like it, and it only took maybe 15 minutes to swap out.

I think it has something to do with the steering lock solenoid. Common failure issue with the 09's and first batches of 10's.

I know Kenchan here on the forums personally went out and got the part that was known to malfunction since his is an 09'. The part WILL fail, so he carries it around with him now lol. :bowrofl:

EDIT:

Here you go...

STEERING LOCK ASSM. $542 - $622

On the inside of the driver side door where it has the tire pressure readings and stuff, it also has the build date of your Z. If your build date is on or before 10/2009 you may have the faulty unit. Likewise, if your Z's build date after 10/2009 you should be fine.
