It's always fun when folks start discussing politics on a discussion board... not!

It's common knowledge that every country does this. Just go to Embassy Row in DC and I guarantee you a large number of the diplomatic "staffers" are just spys. :shakes head:

This is normal and it should continue. No other country is surprised about this because... guess what? They are doing it too!

As for Bradley Manning... he should be executed for treason.

I hear they upped the game scene in Charleston, WV. anyone wanna go? I am playing the penny slots :)

m4a1mustang 12-01-2010 01:48 PM

I'm not much of a gambler :icon17: But have fun.

BTW, did you get your replacement parts yet for your furnace?

s0ftimage 12-01-2010 01:55 PM

Hi Steve...

Yeap! Put the motor in... Tuesday from 3am to 5am (I was a zombie at the office). The Motor bracket succumbed to the vibrations caused by some miss-alignment with the new blower wheel. I was semi-awake, it sounded like a Jet crashing into the house.

The bracket was really cheap and flimsy to begin with. I am glad I already had the OEM motor just waiting to be installed. I really didn’t want to put it in at 3am, but thinking about it, it was going to be cold when I woke up, and then the entire day. Since I have renters, I didn’t think that would be a good idea. With some luck, that’s all done.

I’ll post a few pics soon.

I think a trip to WV would be FUN!! Lets do it. You can lead ;)

Whats up with your car??? What new mods you got??

s0ftimage 12-01-2010 01:56 PM

Tony, are we going to see your car this weekend?

m4a1mustang 12-01-2010 01:57 PM

That's good you got it fixed, especially now that it's getting cold.

I haven't done anything new to my car yet. I have some ideas but they are all on hold until spring. Now you on the other hand... I think it's time to order an exhaust at the very least! :stirthepot:

s0ftimage 12-01-2010 02:05 PM

umm, no performance work... this car is a already a million times better than my first sports car, a Geo Storm :bowrofl:

I like jamaica951's spoiler. Looks sweet. I'd consider it, if its not too much hassle to put it on (i.e. if I can do it myself).

s0ftimage 12-01-2010 02:09 PM

I did my own divorce, do my own yard work, work on my own car, work on my own furnace, replace my own toilet... I find it hard paying people for work..

the only thing I wont do.. is clean my gutters... I climbed the roof once and I thought I was going to have to call 911 to come help me down :)

Exhaust would give you a little bit of a power boost but nothing major... it's mostly for sound and you know you want a more aggressive sound!

If you got the Amuse wing that jamaica has I think you'd need to, at the very least, get a front spoiler and maybe even side skirts to balance it out. That's a very aggressive wing!

Dude, DIY is the best way. 1) you save money and 2) you feel good about it because YOU did it!

Also, from the looks of it the Amuse wing wouldn't cover all of the holes from the stock spoiler, so you'd have to get them filled and painted.

You're probably better off just getting the Mine's rear add-on that Tony has if you don't want to go through that trouble.

My vote for a rear wing would be the Seibon NISMO CF wing:

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4086/...d467d2ee_b.jpg

It's two-pieces, so you paint the base to match the body and leave the wing plane in carbon fiber. It'd look hot, especially with CF front fang covers and/or a CF front lip.

Yup! I think Stillen sells the wing for ~$600 and it might cost you a couple hundred bucks to have it installed since a body shop will have to fill in holes and repaint, then paint the wing. But it does look awesome.

And it's sort of an understated wing, too, so it will totally flow with the stock body.

s0ftimage 12-01-2010 02:43 PM

thanks Steve! that's the one I will get, when the time comes!

m4a1mustang 12-01-2010 02:44 PM

Hmm...

Why don't you guys just swap hatches? That'd be much easier than swapping spoilers.

If you swap hatches then you won't have to have any exposed holes filled and painted, Frank. You'd just drill new holes for whatever wing you buy and install.

guys.. the british navy is selling
a broken aircraft carrier.
we could buy it for cheap and
convert it to a mobile race track.

we can take it from port to port (tug boat)

aircraft hanger to party, take
elevators to race (think top gun).
tower for VIP.

who has some extra pounds
laying around?

m4a1mustang 12-02-2010 09:46 AM

Haha... Mobile Auto-X.
