Funny you say that. The first officer was a young female cop. After taking my license and registration she sorta hesitated before going back to her cruiser and said:

"Is that the GReddy exhaust?"

I was like Whoa! What do we have here?? After all was said and done, yes she did issue the ticket, her and the other officer that was with her were outside (well after midnight, mind you) with their flashlights shining down into my hood. She wanted to see what was under the hood! That was so cool!!

That's pretty cool. You should have offered her a ride in exchange for not writing the ticket. Of course that could have lead to other problems

I was the one who asked her if she wanted to peek under the hood. She smiled and said yeah, she did. Before I opened the hood I told her: Ok, whatever you see under here, you aren't allowed to write an additional ticket, ok? She laughed and agreed. She was really cool. Wish they all were. Although, I gotta admit, for the dumb stuff I've done in this car, none have ever really been mean.
