I'm actually out this weekend. My Mazda threw a light this morning, so I'm spending Saturday morning figuring that out, and depending on how serious, maybe I'm getting it worked on, maybe I'm selling it and looking for insurance quotes on the Z as a DD, maybe I'm fixing it muh damn self.

Well, if the light was just a "loose gas cap", I'm there. But the engine was sputtering. That's usually not a good sign.

You got the 4-banger or the V6? Hopefully its simple like a MAF sensor or just a bad ignition coil.

I've got the V6, and the last time it was an ignition coil. Cost me a ton to fix.

Can't make it this weekend (Vegas!) but I'd definitely like to come next weekend. Just picked up a white Touring Sport 6MT and I'd like to see what some other people have done to their cars first hand. I live in NW DC.

These are the times where it's good to invest in a decent OBD-II scan tool so you can pull the MIL codes yourself. Hope it's nothing too expensive man.

Welcome to the group! Looking forward to meeting ya. Just remember, what happens in vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas. Have a good trip

Next week, I believe we are in Fairfax. Hope to see you there!

My folks have one. I'm going to borrow it from them tomorrow. In the meantime I had to drive the Z to work today (oh noes).
