Ron, I liked what you did with the tubes for the intake... can you share some more details on how I can do the "same"?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I called up Z1 Motorsports - a forum sponsor here and got them.

There was a noticeable difference in throttle response and mid-range power especially at highway cruising speeds. There is a slightly louder intake noise as well since the tubes get rid of the factory air resonator.

Here's the links:

Thanks, I dont think I want red or blue. Not too sure about black... I wish they had a PG or such that would have matched a little better...

If I do end up going with black would you have time to show me how to replace them?

Yea, it honestly takes 20 mins max. We could do it at the meet in the parking lot if you wanted. :bowrofl:

What takes the most time is removing/replacing the strut bar so you have access to the tubes.

You see, this is why you all are bad influences. I see things like this and I buy them. I see springs, I buy them. I see cbe's, I buy them. Now I see these hoses and drop in filters, and im BUYING THEM. Beats the crap out of buying a 500 dollar intake!

Yeah!! Im sure intake tubes will fit your 5.0! ;)

I think you can make it this weekend. Yeah, you can make it. Considering you're the head honcho on the meetup group. You need to be less helpful to others. I dont help anybody ever, so I can make it to every meet :)

Try contacting them, they might be able to do custom colors.
