I bet it's worse for Cube owners, all 9 of them nationwide. :bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

Don't even talk about the Cube... Chantilly Nissan gave me that little bastard TWICE as a loaner car. I still have nightmares...:shakes head:

Actually, a friend of mine owns one and claims to enjoy it. Of course, he also once owned a honda element. :icon14:

If I was a Spongebob fan I would buy a Yellow Cube.

m4a1mustang 09-08-2010 11:59 AM

Guys, I just placed an order for a yellow Cube.

The loaner I got was worse.

Three or 4 year old Sentra that had been smoked in and had multiple cig burns on the door panel to prove it. It had more dents and scratches than my (dad bought it new and "gave" it to me) 1971 pinto did when I got rid of it in 87...

Then it had that damed CVT transmission which was ok till the car got warmed up and then it sounded like a police car was following me constantly. Every time I got on or off of the gas it would make the Woooo Woooo Wooo noise. I seriously thought that it was not going to make it to work and back.

I mean do you really want to give a customer a used up sentra for a loaner when they just bought a 40K + vehicle???

I know how you feel. Feels like a big eff you when you drive their flagship vehicles and they give you a P.O.S. loaner car. Christ.... I would have been pleased to get an Altima 2.5!

Not all CVT's are created equal... trust me, I drive one hahaha!

My brother had work done to his Xterra and got a Chevy HHR as a loaner. That car is the f*cking anti-christ.

Only been to Starbucks twice so many of you may not remember me; I had the 40th Anniversary Z and was a former Z06 owner.

Great minds must think alike....on labor day I traded the Z in on a 2011 Shelby GT 500, with SVT package. Red with with white stripes.

Anyway, I have a Stillen front license plate holder and a 370 Z cargo organizer. If anyone want them, I'll sell them for half price and will bring them to Starbucks.

Plate holder: $35
Cargo organizer: $50

Hey I remember you! I know one of our group that wants the cargo organizer if she hasn't already bought one. She is SECKS Z on the forum. Congrats on the Shelby GT 500. I looked long and hard at one before I bought the Z.

ZCarMan 09-08-2010 04:09 PM

Okay, so you ladies have made up your minds that we are at Kings Contrivance this weekend? Then GB in Annapolis either the following weekend or the one after that?

And Steve, great looking 5.0! Looking forward to seeing it up close.

Yeah still considering it. Checking out schedules between a trip to Michigan and a quicky vacation home for a long weekend. I hope to do it though.

m4a1mustang 09-08-2010 05:59 PM

OK, MAZOC'ers, this is what's happening:

THIS WEEKEND Sept 11 - Kings Contrivance meet @ 10AM

NEXT WEEKEND Sept 18 - Dinner @ Gordon Biersch Annapolis just like we did the last time.

m4a1mustang 09-08-2010 06:01 PM

Also, guys, don't forget about the MIR Track Day on Friday, Sept 17th.

Free to come and watch, $100 to run for the whole day. I will be running!

No worries, we still got some time. It would be nice to get another 370Z out there on the track from our group. And even a Mustang 5.0 if he could make it!

eergh, I am a little slow. Which event are you referring to? Also, is the MIR and the ZNational the same event?

I want to come, but cant promise anything until I am actually show up. So much to do at home, and with random overtime at the office, I cant never tell if I am going to be free or not.

ZNationals is an event held in Georgia, coming up near the end of the month. MIR is a Maryland Drag Strip, I believe, and I think it's about a week before ZNats.

Usually, no, we just meet at the final destination.

Thanks. If she is interested, she can send me a PM and I can meet her somewhere or just show up at the next Starbucks meeting.

Wasn't me. I'm in Springfield at the moment (most likely moving to Fredericksburg late Oct). Thanks, the car does look sweet and gets a lot of compliments. Ford got the 2011 right (mostly) with all the improvements (e.g., alum. vs iron block).

m4a1mustang 09-08-2010 09:53 PM

So, who is coming out to MIR next Friday?

Anyone got the address for KC? I'm lookin to cruise up there after washing the car Saturday morning.

m4a1mustang 09-09-2010 08:50 AM

Yeah I need the address too. lol.

shadoquad 09-09-2010 09:28 AM

It's in front of Michael's Pub. This is important, because the parking lot has three sections.

8630 Guilford Road
Columbia, MD 21046-2616

m4a1mustang 09-09-2010 09:31 AM

Thanks Al.

No prob. Also worth noting, for coffee, there is a McDonald's (shudder), a Starbucks inside the Harris Teeter, and a small coffee shop behind Michael's that is excellent. Lance tells me they make terrific bagels, too.

m4a1mustang 09-09-2010 09:33 AM

thx al.

m4a1mustang 09-09-2010 10:15 AM

So, is anyone going to MIR with me next Friday? $0 to spectate, $100 to run for the WHOLE DAY.
