It is dirty, though, so I won't be showing you a clean car. :(

Can't get a loan in my name and my parents would never be ok with it, so I'm good. :icon17:

Besides, I still need some time to get more used to driving a manual before I'm ready for some test drives.

m4a1mustang 11-12-2011 01:23 PM

I am in a food coma!

It was good to see everyone and to meet some new faces. Chris, I am glad you ended up loving Todai :icon17:

Also it was nice to see Amar out with the Viper.

Some good news. My little cousin just got an 03 350Z 6MT and he's gonna start coming to the MD meets with me. As an added bonus, I finally have a car that I can learn/practice driving manual with. Took it for a spin today and I can definitely see why driving a manual is so fun. Thanks again Rob for teaching me that day! Still need to get used to getting off the clutch slowly and smoothly, but i had no issues driving it on the road.

Also as a side effect, I really want to test drive a 5.0 now with the brembo package using my newly acquired 6MT skills :icon17:

You're quite welcome, glad you're good enough to feel ok driving on the street. Now just do it as much as you can and you'll get used to it in no time :-p

Ditto on what Steve said -- Food Coma = Me Too!

Good to see the old timers and meet the new faces as well.

Great turnout to the VA Starbucks Meet today. I think total we had ten cars with 8 370Zs (Including 2 Roadsters), The Max Warp and Amar with his Viper. New to the group Chris and Paul and his Wife Monica? Oh dear I hope I got that correct, Paul?

Lunch was as always delicious! Chris gave it the thumbs up!

So, here are a few pics from today's meet. Hope to see you all next week in MD!

Amar left before I took pics. He was parked in the empty spot.

Nice Pics Jon -- Thanks

Wasn't a bad weather day either -- definitely a jacket day, but not bad for early November.

ZCarMan 11-12-2011 05:01 PM

Thanks Steve! glad both Deb and you were able to make it out!

Thanks for the pics Jon!.

good to see everyone.

Cristobal09 11-14-2011 11:34 AM

We should do a midweek thing every now and then (in FFX at least). It doesnt even have to be FFX. I just like to go out to eat and its even better with some cool people like you guys to go to eat with. If its Todai, all the better!

You have no idea how difficult it is to get a group of MAZOC'ers to get together for anything outside of the Saturday morning meets or annual GB dinners. :icon17:

All the things I've tried to plan and completely failed. Remember the Fast 5 meet *cough*Steve*cough*? :roflpuke2:

Cristobal09 11-14-2011 11:51 AM

No offense but im definitely not going to make it to a midweek MD meet, I dont have patience to sit in traffic (I work from home). I have such a relaxed schedule that I can do just about anything (no kids, a wife that doesnt care, and a job where I work when I want helps in that respect) Any NOVA members up for something midweek every now and then?

m4a1mustang 11-14-2011 11:52 AM

MD is also dangerous. :bowrofl:

Mid week meets would be cool, but b1ades is right, it's quite the task to arrange a meeting outside of Saturday for most of us. :bowrofl:

Actually it was planned to be right after an FFX meet on a Saturday and still completely imploded. :icon17:

Fixed :tiphat:

Cristobal09 11-14-2011 12:03 PM

Im trying to do some of those other restaurants you mentioned. It gets boring going with the wife everywhere and my friends are so picky about where they eat. Well anyways, if anybody in the NOVA area wants to meet up sometime and get some dinner with my wife and I, let me know.

Im still wanting to learn about these cars and dont feel like being a noob and posting up questions on the forums.

Just PM Jeffblue, he will answer all your questions. :bowrofl: :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

You could also come to the MD meets since we usually get more people there now than FFX :stirthepot:

From the MAZOC Bylaws:

OFFICIAL GORDON BIERSCH MEETS WILL ONLY TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY. GORDON BIERSCH MEETS HELD ON ANY OTHER DAY BUT SATURDAY ARE UNOFFICIAL, THEREBY THEY ARE NOT SPONSORED BY MAZOC AND TO DO NOT COUNT TOWARDS OR AGAINST OFFICIAL ATTENDANCE RECORDS.

Lies. Where are the full list of MAZOC bylaws, I would like to see them. Only one problem with that though, they don't EXIST! They are all lies made up by you to use as excuses for missing MAZOC GB meets.

If I trade my Z in for a new Genesis Coupe V6 would I still be welcomed at the meets... ? :)

That's because:

1. It is legal for you to carry in VA
2. MD is dangerous but they won't let you carry
3. You never come to MD where you will be left defenseless :p

b1adesofcha0s 11-14-2011 12:15 PM

You'd be safe since Steve never shows up to the MD ones. The only time you would have an issue is if you were to trade it for a Mustang  :stirthepot:

m4a1mustang 11-14-2011 12:16 PM

Of course!!! I mean, Steve brings his Stang, and Darren brings the Passion Wagon. Jay brings his sexy Max.

I'm hoping Lou will bring his GTR when he gets it!

You're always welcome to hang with us, bro
