I'll see you guys tomorrow @ Starbucks!

Rick -- BRING MY RADIO!

Tony -- BRING MY ENGINE COVER!!! :D

ZCarMan 05-28-2010 08:11 PM

Lance, I have your little white cooler! Steve, I have our motorola radio. Those things work so good that Pat and I bought two of our own for next time! Lastly, perhaps when we are at Steve's tomorrow we can make our reservations together so we can try to get cabins in the vicinity of one another.

Sounds like a plan -- Deb and I finished off a bottle.....OK, maybe 2....of a really great Pinot Noir tonight and talked a lot about last weekend and how much fun we had. Definitely doing cabins next year and after the Thurs & Fri night "strolls", we want to get something a LOT closer in (together) for ZDayZ 11.

See ya in the morning.....

m4a1mustang 05-28-2010 10:14 PM

I will probably be a little late to Starbucks tomorrow morning. Gonna get a late start to the day.

Good seeing all the regulars this morning.

Like I said I got into an accident a couple weeks ago so my Z is out of commission for 2-3 more weeks. Another car made a left turn out of the Starbucks right in front of me. Repairs should run about $10,300. Here are some pics:

m4a1mustang 05-29-2010 03:30 PM

Damn.

zZSportZz 05-29-2010 04:25 PM

I would like to give a shout out to the Steve and Deb for the wonderful hospitality they displayed today by opening their home to the mid Atlantic crew and feeding us some wonderful food!! Thank you all very much! If there is anything I can ever do, please let me know!

Nice to see everyone for the hour or so there. We will continue the trend and have the cook out at our place one of these weekends. Also, we (Citibank) is having a family day - cook out and stuff - on the 12th in Greenbriar. You could bring the cars over to keep mine company and grab some food.

Sscottfitz 05-29-2010 05:32 PM

We enjoyed the company & camaraderie; and consider the Mid A group just our newest set of friends -- looking forward to future get togethers.

No problem Omar on moving the bed -- that's what trucks are good at.

Hope everyone has a great remainder of their Memorial Day weekend!

:hello:

2theextreme 05-29-2010 06:08 PM

Glad to hear ya'll had a great time! Outside of a solid 75 minute drive up and back, Hill's Garage is pretty impressive. Lot's of 350's and some G's.......and one lonely blue 370! :bowrofl:

m4a1mustang 05-29-2010 07:59 PM

That will be me! I'll let you now when I have them! Thanks Steve.

ZCarMan 05-29-2010 08:58 PM

Steve and Deb, thanks again for a very nice afternoon of beers and burgers. Its great to sit around under the shade and tell lies about our cars! Omar, Steve, Rick, Brian, Laurel, was great to see you all and we look forward to next weekend! Oh by the way, I just reserved our cabin (same one #660) at Fontana Village. The rates went up a little but they said just let them know you want it for ZDayZ and you should get the group rate for a one bedroom (159.00 for ours). You should only have to pay for one night up front and then you can pay toward it anytime before so you can actually have it paid off by the time ZDayZ rolls around again next year. Don't wait, do it now!

m4a1mustang 05-29-2010 09:06 PM

Ill call to reserve mine here shortly. Jon... 660 is a great Cabin!

ZCarMan 05-29-2010 09:35 PM

I'm thinking at least one night we gotta grill some monster steaks to go with all the cold beer!

m4a1mustang 05-29-2010 09:39 PM

uber nomnomnomnom. I'm thinking steaks and burgers and bbq chicken.... we will have to plan it all out and pitch in for a full menu of deliciousness.

Nom...nom..nomnomnom.

I saw that GT-R for the first time at the D&V Open House and I could swear it's now lower than it was back then....and a 375 rear tire.....crazy!!

That is a beautiful WHITE GT-R. And I agree, even in the picture, it looks pretty low -- he's probably gotta be pretty careful with driveways, curbs, hell -- roads in general.......

03threefiftyz 05-30-2010 01:13 PM

I can assure you he missed the worlds nastiest speed bump........which happens to reside in the very same lot lol.

ZSPEED 05-30-2010 03:02 PM

It was great to meet everyone yesterday. Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon.

m4a1mustang 05-30-2010 03:05 PM

Hey Andre, it was nice meeting you yesterday. I'll send you an email with the spacer info shortly.

zZSportZz 05-30-2010 03:28 PM

Man. I just wasted 4hours watching the Indy 500.

m4a1mustang 05-30-2010 03:36 PM

Me too! I'm painting my engine cover :)

Can't wait to watch the 600. F1 was great, Indy was blah, hopefully Charlotte will be great. :)
