Definitely no more cruises until then. I won't be cruising again until at least late June or July.

Yeah no more FFX meets after Fast Five either. Not till I get my spending in control.

Hey Randy, you should come on out to the Sunday meet since the weather will be a lot better. Lots of nice cars show up... Ferraris, Porsches, as well as some other obscure yet cool autos. :tiphat:

Well for me it's a money issue. My spending has spiraled out of control recently so I'm cutting back on non-essential expenses until everything is under control. The FFX meets and cruises take a lot of gas money + the cost of lunch.

Not until after Zdayz for me. Zdayz is next month, and it's like an 11-hour drive. So, when we get back, then we can cruise again, but my "cruise" for may will be driving to Fontana, ripping up the dragon, and driving back.

birdmanx1 04-15-2011 11:55 AM

I see what you mean guys, it makes sense. So we are going to have to wait late June for Shahid to go offroad again and for shado to ride around with only one seat in his Z (I had to say that :p) At least I'll see you at the MD meets in the meantime.

Well, right now I have no seats in my Z, but that should be taken care of Saturday.

Anyhow, guys who aren't going to Zdayz can cruise without us if they want. Nobody's stoppin' yas! :D

True, just not as familiar with the area as you are, plus we don't want this to happen while TROOPER is looking at the GPS and talking on the phone.

:icon18:

You could get Brian to take you guys on a different cruise. He seems to know his way around a lot of fun driving roads in MD.

m4a1mustang 04-15-2011 12:20 PM

Or just go to google maps and print stuff out. :D

Yeah, I've got links detailing cruise routes, and so does Brian. You can look around on Google Maps, make changes, print it out, and just have fun and explore.

That's too much work. We like just following one person and not worrying about it :D

That would make for some interesting situations... the type of TURN RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!! situation. Have you seen that AllState commercial? :icon17:

:iagree: that way one focuses on keeping the 3 feet distance with the car in front.

Now where would be the fun in doing that :icon17: It pushes the driver ahead to go a little faster while all the while focusing as well on moving stop signs... that's nascar driving style :p oh yea brake checks are prohibited, that's cheating!

I'm surprised you've heard of the brake pedal. :roflpuke2:

Bump draft! :icon18:

birdmanx1 04-15-2011 01:46 PM

:icon18: that's awesome guys. Bumper drafts sound like fun, we must and shall try that next time I vote for shado and Jay to go first and we see how that works out, vote heh ? :icon17:

m4a1mustang 04-15-2011 01:52 PM

We need reinforced bumpers like they have in NASCAR though, otherwise it will just be a mess. :bowrofl:

Birdman attemps to bump draft:

http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/20..._470x309,0.jpg

birdmanx1 04-15-2011 01:58 PM

:inoutroflpuke: ok ok ok that was the one time the angle wasn't perfect. Look guys, why do we need extra reinforcers for the bumper. m4a1mustang & 4r3s, b1adesofchaos took his Z offroad on a chaotic adventure and proved us that the Z is a multifunction vehicle that can handle any chaotic situation :p

shadoquad 04-15-2011 02:06 PM

There are no bump drafts. You will be safe if you drive a MD cruise. It's more about how you drive than how the group drives. And aside from one VDC off incident and one rock throwing hillbilly kid, no one was hurt last time.

Please don't bump draft me :(

Kirk's doing fine. He got called out of town on an emergency. Patience is a virtue.
