I was like  Whoa! What do we have here?? After all was said and done, yes she did issue the ticket, her and the other officer that was with her were outside (well after midnight, mind you) with their flashlights shining down into my hood. She wanted to see what was under the hood! That was so cool!!

It's always nice to be reminded that for the most part, the police are just normal people. Some are cool as hell.

That's pretty cool. You should have offered her a ride in exchange for not writing the ticket. Of course that could have lead to other problems

:bowrofl: I was the one who asked her if she wanted to peek under the hood. She smiled and said yeah, she did. Before I opened the hood I told her: Ok, whatever you see under here, you aren't allowed to write an additional ticket, ok? She laughed and agreed. She was really cool. Wish they all were. Although, I gotta admit, for the dumb stuff I've done in this car, none have ever really been mean.

The Mid-A crew has been amazingly effective at derailing threads today.

:welcome:

We meet every Saturday at Starbucks at 10 am. We alternate between MD and VA locations every week. Meets are usually in either Fairfax or Columbia.

At this point, I'm actually getting scared. Some of these meets, there are more guns than Z's.

Same spot as the Saturday meet between 8 - 10......except the cars aren't Z specific but they are older sports cars, Corvette, Maserati, Porche, you name it.

(at least I think that's the one Jay is mentioning....correct me if I'm wrong)

I'll probably bring the Z this weekend, rain or shine. I'm really hoping that I feel better physically by then, but I'll probably come out there regardless. Haven't seen the fair pastures of the Fairfax Starbucks in some time :icon17:

How else do can you get that thing to slide like you do! I still wish I had my camera working at the Dragon last year when you whipped it around at the bottom of the run where we all parked.

Do you have allergies? Could be that. That sucks though as I know that those migraines can pretty much put you down. Hope you feel up to coming out though this weekend.

LOL,

Actually I took Jon at AAM for a spin to listen to this whine I've had. His first impression was it sounded like it was coming from the differential, LOL!

Hummm....

Eh, we'll see. I'm getting an oil change tomorrow and they are going to have someone else take it for a spin and see what their best guess is.

It runs fine, so I'm not too worried about it.

Good luck, I hope it's not anything too bad.

The only time I've had VDC off for an extended time was on the cruise. It was awesome! The only problem I see with it would be if the roads were wet, then it gets dangerous.
