Either way it has to be better than the old 234/28 BK meets where you'd get shot.

HAHA! I used to go to those in high school. Yeah, that joint was definitely ghetto as hell. :roflpuke2:

Maybe they weren't enforcing? I know the helmet rules vary track to track. Some are 13.99, others are 13.50. Either way I'm more comfortable wearing one in the event I crash. :icon17:

Well, in the words of Vin Diesel, if you're granny shifting and not double-clutching like you should, you probably won't need a helmet :roflpuke2:

I hear ya! I'm beginning to wonder if I'll even fit in my Z with a helmet on. ;-)

Haha, I'm sure you'd be hitting the ceiling with it.

I'm gonna have to granny drive it with my head down over the wheel. ;-)

I thought you had to be running 10's or 11's in the 1/4 to require a helmet? Or maybe thats for a roll cage....

Depends on the track. I think most tracks want you to have a cage once you get into the 10s.

Well once you send that thing off to Roush, you'll need one then

He'll do great at the track. Well, great for owning the car for a short amount of time and being rusty after not drag racing for a bit.

But I bet after a few track days in teh stang, maybe after a few mods, Steve-point-oh will be running very fast times indeed!

My goal is a 12.7 and a low 1.9 60', but we'll see. It has been a while and I haven't done any launches in this car yet.

1.9 60' time? Man you're ambitious! Only way that's happening is if you hook up reallllly well right off the start! Throw some DOT slicks on there real quick
