Option #1: smash burgers with potato salad

Option #2: Homemade putanesca sauce, meatballs/sausage, & antipasto

Option #3: Maple glazed salmon & tons of grilled veggies

1 and 2 sound pretty good, though I have no idea what putanesca sauce is.

Sounds like it was ate, then puked up. Something like the monkey chit coffee. :rofl2:

Leingod 08-13-2020 11:49 AM

It's a very rich red sauce. Consistency of marinara, but infused with anchovies, capers, black olives, and a few heads of garlic. Slightly on the sweet side when done properly.

I've had it on vacation. It's very smooth, but totally not worth the cost or hype. Would rather save the money for a strip of A5 Wagyu.

You're going to need to find a much worse pic than that to get my coffee away from me :rofl2:

Man, I thought chefs had to be kinda tough and adapt? I dont have a problem with the grill. I do admit that the front part of the grill is a belly warmer. :icon17:

jchammond 08-14-2020 03:17 AM

I’m gonna make it happen; planning to leave early Saturday morning & arrival Will probably be after lunchtime for sure...as traffic, crashes, etc. will diktate all that. :iagree:

I have no feeling in my finger tips after years of grabbing hot pans. Can't say my stomach feels the same way.

I've had reapers before, back when I consumed peppers on a regular basis, and I can confirm that eaten alone they are pretty hot! Duglah I haven't heard of.

-ZS-Carpenter 08-15-2020 04:36 PM

Picked up 20lb of pork roast for the pulled pork samiches :yum:

Cooking it up here then freezing it for transport. Will just need to dump it in a crock pot for some easy lunches

I can't fly out on Thurs or Fri now due to work. The flights on Sat don't really work and are now more expensive to boot

I'm going to hold onto my Fri/Mon flights just in case I can get out of work. Got a spot on the floor for me just in case? I can bring a cot or air mattress easy enough.

JLarson 08-17-2020 06:54 AM

Looking forward to seeing all you strange people! It's going to be a good time. What are we missing as far as food/beverages that need to be brought?

MD is about 4-5 hours or so east of me depending on where MA is located.

Josh should only be like 2-3 hours North of it most likely being in philly.
