Garage in Hampton Roads for Rear Diff Bushing Replacement?

Hi, er'body.

Is there a shop in the Hampton Roads area that can change the rear differential bushing without removing the subframe?

Priotiry Nissan quoted $3,000 and I had to show them the bushing and explain the silicone leak. I'm not so confident in the dealership. I don't have time or room to do it myself and no one seems to know how to do this.

Thanks!
Hector

Ezpze had a good interaction with Ross at Trust Automotive in Chesapeake. I'd say give him a call. I called him about it as well but ended up doing it myself.

If you had the time available there's always the DIY garages around here

Drive up to Northern Virginia and I'll do it for $300 cash.

I would call around until you found a shop that has done this before. Try Custom Car Care in Yorktown, Performance Inovations in Hampton or Japaneese Auto Masters in VB.

I did mine in December and I have the Z1 bushing tool. It got the bushing core out in a few minutes but I gave up trying to get the bushing shell out with it when after cranking on it for 30+min my Craftsman breaker bar exploded. I ended up cutting the shell out in 15min with a small sawzall which is what I would recommend if you do it yourself.
