IG @gbrettin: Screw the putty wanna be JB weld. I literally touched the stuff and the tab fell off. The good news is that it looks like it can be welded after I cleaned the compressor and opened it....

The putty said it bonded to aluminum and when I lined up the tab it had spots for the putty to really bite into like an empty casting hole. That being said... I'll run it and if it breaks... it...
