I want to keep the whacking and modifying down to a minimal. I can do that with the VR38.

Don't even need fire rings for 1200whp. Keep it simple.. Stock crank with rods and pistons and head studs is good for 1000 ft lbs. Did a few VR38 builds to 1100-1200whp recently.

I need a junkyard long block that is good. I am going dry sump to make everything work better. I am done with the VQ.

I am still not sure what I am going to do yet. If a VR38 was only 10k I would have already had one sitting at MA.

:iagree: I feel the VHR VQ's sweet spot for power and reliability is around 750whp to 800whp, that's after being full built as well. If you want more and want to be reliable I think a VR38 swap...

Billet block is not happening. We just don't have the interest on our platform and the misinformation is way way off the chart. The stock block is just garbage but it was never designed for 4 times...
