    Smoothing, in this context, usually refers to throwing out spikes so the graph looks smoother. Used to get rid of noise or if the signal naturally jumps around a lot. Ask the chart maker to explain...

    Take it from a guy that has been there done that. Get the Motordyne ART pipes if you want the sickest sounding exhaust. It is tame when it needs to but will put fear into people when you open her up...

    OEM cats are the most restrictive part of the exhaust system. Dump them for test pipes and run open exhaust behind those :twocents:

    You can still melt those HFC's. If that happens you will not only be out of a set of them but you could also pop your motor. In fact, the OEM cats have shown to hold up better than HFC's so why would...

    I did not realize you were running a SC. If you go with TPs, you probably don't want open exhaust because of that back pressure loss.

    Looks like you are correct, the CBE is AAM's 2.5" ture dual and the HFC are Kinetix.
