    It’s not hard to believe that. I think the timing means it’s not. No point in arguing back and forth because there’s no way to prove it either way. I’m going to be optimistic.

    Look at it another way. Given there are track cars there all the time, why would someone randomly decide to make up that this is a test mule?

    It’s to early. Thinking this mule is for power train only. That’s why they can use the 370 body with little to no mods. That prototype in 2007 was 2 yrs before we saw the actual body of the 370. ...

    They ran a 370 around with a 350 body for awhile as well. This is not surprising as the car will basically be built on a modified platform of the current car.

    Maybe if they’d redesigned the Z and GTR years ago they could have created better brand excitement versus the numerous updated SUVs etc. That is the point of halo sports cars isn’t it?
