Seraphix' build thread

Thought I'd share parts of the journey with the Z fam. This is my first Z coming from a G, I'm loving everything about this car. Bought the car in May of this year, since moding is a never ending hobby documenting it seemed right.

Car as I purchased it, loved the Magama color from the first second I saw it

Just had it tuned a few weeks ago and the car put down 317rwhp and 257tq on an 80 degree day with 60% humidity, we were at 291rwhp and 241tq before the tune. Power is more balanced now, and it pulls all the way to red line. Ordering the Type M aerojacket add on wing next week in CF and doing the headlight housing in gunmetal, with bronze shrouds and magma accents, along with STI-R lenses. Got a few questions about the bumper and wether the bumper support had to be taken out. We just put a few screws through the radiator support there's a support portion on the Amuse bumper that is secured that way. Only thing that was taken off was the fender brackets which is no big deal. Z/G community is the best by far that I have ever seen, and hope to share more with you guys as the build continues. Thanks for looking

Lol I hear ya man, I don't know if I would drive the Z in the snow honestly. I'd probably have another car for the winters... Then again your in Alaska im sure you guys see snow most months. I know when I lived in Montreal and had I owned the Z, I would of never taken her out lol. She would of came out 2 months out of the year.

Surprisingly it doesn't do to bad, i threw some 235/50/18 Cooper WSC studded tires on it and i go anywhere i need to go. the occasional spin at a stop light but no problems

Would you have a drive-by video by chance? Thinking about going this route too! Sounds mean in that 15 sec clip!

Ya man here's a quick drive by right after the headers install and a vid while getting a tune on the dyno. It is loud though if you are planning to go this route, just a heads up.

Your right lol we do twin, I like your custom lip though, everything flows well together. And the color theme you got going is ridiculous.

An update of the build. Went with a 3m 1080 satin white pearl wrap a few weeks ago. Always wanted to do a CF and white theme. Love the 3m white, almost changes colors in different lighting while maintaining the satin look.

That grey is sexy, was looking at a few grey's before pulling the trigger on the satin Pearl. Price here is from 2700 to 3k, but I bought the vinyl and me and my friend knocked it out in a weekend. He has experience with vinyl though. Would of never done it unless I had someone who knew the theory behind it at least. But once you get the hang of manipulating the vinyl and squeegeeing, it's pretty straight forward bro.
