Good luck in your course! |
The engine fired up !!! :)
The hard part of idle tuning is done, however there is still some issue with the cranking start-up but it should be ready to be Dyno tuned soon! btw, not everything is installed and what you can see around the engine was only wired up to start the engine. |

As for the weight with everything... when I did a gross estimate with the scale few months ago, it should be about 3050-3075lbs. |
Sweet Jesus, that sounds menacing. I mean the actual sound of the car. And the weight to power ratio too.
|
Congrats!
That sound! Wow! I have to see you pilot your work of art around the track this year. |
Dude that is awesome! Congrats. Are you OCD with wiring or are you going to put it together enough for the dyno run?
|
Prepping for some dyno time soon !
Today, I tried to tune the idle a bit better but since I never tuned a Turbo setup, I found out how annoying it is when the BOV stay open at idle. Some spacer was added to help the issue but the spring is just a bit too weak and doesn't react as it should. Quote:

I had the BOV issue as well. I swapped out the 10lb springs for the 11lb springs. Problem solved.

Are you still using UPREV for software or something different since you are using the 350Z HR ECU?
