To the haters: there is no right or wrong way to build a car. This is his build thread and you should respect what he is doing to his own car and he shoud be able to share his updates without harassment

This forum can be particularly close-minded and many of you just do the same mods like a bunch of mindless sheep and will hate on something that is different. It gets very old...

False.. There is, in fact, a wrong way to build a car.. :shakes head:

Full metal wide body bagged 370z

Kinda ironic that a lot of the guys talking **** or "hating" have a stock looking z with some plain Jane wheel that everyone has or some cheap *** lowering spring. I am doing something that has been done what ... 1 time ? There's a white full metal widebody and other shop in Cali building 1 for Sema? Just in body work I have more money invested than some of you have in your motors. And more than most have you have in your total mods on the car. And don't get me started on my wheels or suspension or other mods the car has. This is a show car. Not a race car. I don't want meaty fitment or as wide of tires as possible. That's not what I built the car for. Yeah maybe down the road I'll put it back static and some meaty fitment so I can sell it easier. But that's not the look I personally want on MY car. So if you don't like it. Great. You don't need to follow the build. Go follow a build that has a car being built like ever other one out there

You took the words out of my mouth! Good for you! " oh but the tires it's unsafe" blah blah freaking blah! If its legal and you like it then its your right. Period. A great deal of people on this forum like to all agree with each other so they can feel like the cool kids . I call bs! If you don't like it then do something else other than hate on somebody for doing something different. Quit trolling the poor guy its lame. Its not like you bashing him is going to make him change his mind. If you're so damn concerned with the safety of his tires and you have so much time on your hands then right your congressman or shut up

Quit wasting time on the haters. We want more pics. :driving:

Kingbaby 10-15-2014 10:20 PM

Already planning on selling it...lol

Get your feature and instafame

EDIT:

Also thinking you're the first or second to do this shows how much you even care about the Z scene...definitely not the first or second or third

Being the first to do something is all you "kids" care about...

But I'm not hating it's called an opinion, I respect the work the shop is doing

If you were a true enthusiast you would know that there is no right or wrong with modding

But given your location you probably aren't around enough modded cars to be introduced to a variety of builds.

sooooooooooooo because some of us stuck with forged Rays wheels that come with the sport package, and are amazing btw, now we are just plain jane look alikes......and you went with wheels/tires that dont fit, cant perform well, and look awful.....and you're an innovator and different?

most people just call that being an idiot. but hey like everyone else says, to each their own :bowrofl:

What does the level of enthusiast have to do with the fact that there is more than one wrong way to do things?

..as you so pointed out, I am in the Appalachian state of doing shit wrong.. :rofl2:

We may not have every car on the street modded out, but at least we have our civil rights.

I'm no lawyer but I believe camber/stretch would fall under the generic outside-manufacturer's-safe-specs clause that most states have in their statutes. I'll be mildly surprised if a few states don't already prohibit it specifically.

it is illegal. most states have laws with restrictions on how many sizes smaller or bigger you can go outside of the stock specs.

along with suspension laws etc.... not saying i stay within every law since PA has the worst vehicle laws ever but mine arent unsafe mods like some people's....

look at ocean city MD. they had cops with alignment tools checking camber at the dumb H2Oi show.

made my day seeing all the super stanced cars getting tickets :bowrofl:

:iagree:

Running stretched tires is DUMB!!! Being 'stanced' is even worse. There's a good reason you have to search to find a place that will even mount a stretched tire.
