so theres a show tomorrow and i wasnt suppose to join..... and then i found out slammed society aint coming back next year..... so i pulled the last deck of cards to get some wheels before the show....

my wheel of choice.... WORK CR kai ultimate concave kawani....

https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...11330875_n.jpg

specs is 19X9.5 +25 and 19X10.5 +22

with my spacers they end up with a nice offset of +10 up front and +2 in the rear... these babies make my Z look super aggressive... and are FLUSH with my Jline fender extensions... i love it  wiggins keep making me drool over WORK rims so ive been eyeing this set or the rays G27 with a prism finish... i ended up with these because a buddy brought them in for a 350z and didnt ever mount them.... and since the show is tomorrow i wasnt about to enter a show with stock rims :p and i wasnt about to forget about keeping it JDM ;) ill post more pics tomorrow right now... i gotta do some mad cleaning.... lol i havent cleaned my z in over a month....

simota1 12-14-2013 07:41 AM

hey everyone i just got home from the show.... and i lost to a couple of type R integras and one civic hatch type R..... im not sure wether my Z got judged because i left.... (most likely not) but i wont lie i am a bit disappointed.... i find it ironic that i beat the hatch in jdm category last time and now when i had a butt load of jdm parts i lost and didnt even place.... but thats just the game... haha today was horrible weather wise... i had a massive cold and slight fever but i still pushed to keep my z as presentable by drying off the rain about 5 times before i gave up.... ill be posting pics as they come in... i saw alota photographers swarming my z so im hoping there will be some nice shots.... here is the first pic

https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...500e5e25f48ce7

 btw the wind was murdering my varis hood so id pick it up every so often to show my bay..... i wish i could have just left it open the whole time.... i felt really flattered each time a group of people would pass my car like nothing but the minute i opened the hood.... its like paparazzi...something about that titanium....;)

lastly ill leave 2 of my favorite moments

guy walks up "so what kinda Z is this? a 350 or a 375" :roflpuke2:

guy pointing at my intakes telling his girlfriend i am definitely twin turboed and the catch cans are my wastegates :bowrofl: what a moron

simota1 12-14-2013 07:43 AM

the most flattering comment i got.... they thought my z was flown in from japan..... :D i think it was the top secret polo shirt i was wearing LOL

KaienZ34 12-14-2013 08:38 AM

Sorry you lost brotha, some people just don't know beauty when they see it.

jofro6 12-14-2013 11:38 AM

its ok guys.... i hope that the next car show the judges look at the difficulty of building the rides and the cost too.... for example if i for example bought ENDLESS BBK that mod alone could purchase a brand new car with the cost of it.... now im not saying that im gonna get a endless BBK because i cant afford it but thats the best example i can do to show how expensive jdm crap is for our cars.... a amuse exhaust for hondas are $1500 our exhausts costs $3k plus.... most people thought i was talking outa my *** when i said my hood cost 3k or the fact that the top secret bar alone cost 2k.... but i was just telling the truth....

get some nice lugs lol.... my lugs are cheap mcgard ones :roflpuke2: ive been thinking of getting these....

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...02_425x340.jpg

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...ics_hep_24.jpg

i originally wanted the neochromes r40 from kics but the burn looks greenish purplish.... i wanted something more bluish to match the amuse exhaust because its going to have purple tips and burnt body

simota1 12-16-2013 02:28 PM

that or i might just get the r40 black chrome from kics... but i feel its too boring..... i wanted colorful lugnuts lol

LMBmikeZ 12-16-2013 03:02 PM

Jon - I am loving the new look with the wheels  :yum:

I have them, but if I can do it again I would go with the r40 series. Took the wheel off few times and scratches on them already.

Luciano13 12-16-2013 05:34 PM

I like it:tup:
just a question....why the crazy hyper blue:wtf2:

fairz 12-16-2013 07:51 PM

the blue would offset the color scheme imo

that is true but we all know once you decide to add a colour......you must add the same colour somewhere else to make up for the solo cowboy wanting to play with the rest of the crowd:icon23:

simota1 12-17-2013 01:12 AM

lol the blue was an option to match the amuse exhaust in the future since it would have a burnt body and purple blue tips with a gold ring option..... i agree that it would throw off the scheme..... just weighing my options  and getting peoples opinions :)

simota1 12-17-2013 01:15 AM

any body else know some nice looking lugs? i was thinking of genuine titanium lugs burnt finish... my only problem is that they are open end lugs :( and would rust out my studs in no time....

Unique_Z 12-17-2013 03:09 AM

well my SR35 works wonders

fairz 12-17-2013 01:47 PM

The color on this z is crazy :

Vossen World Tour | Toronto | Part II - YouTube

what you think about this?

LostSol 12-17-2013 01:50 PM

I actually like my Muteki SR48 in chrome-titanium. The fact that they are steel instead of aluminum makes them safer IMHO

LostSol 12-17-2013 01:52 PM

Or how about: Evasive Motorsports | PH: 626.336.3400 Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm PST: EVS Tuning SL48 Titanium Lug Nuts

hell to the NO lol..... i think thats either a wrap or plasti dip...... i was actually talking about colors for the lugs and exhaust.... i actually re shot the whole entire car in PPG paint with PPG high glamour clear... If and when i would reshoot her the color of choice would be top secret gold and nothing else....

whats wrong with open ended? if youre worried about rust, hit your lugs with anti-seize before installing the lug nuts, and throw a dab in the open end to make sure

the titanium lugs shouldnt rust right?

LostSol 12-17-2013 03:09 PM

correct, titanium does not rust, the lugs are steel so they "could" but its not that likely unless you lived somewhere that you had to deal with winter. If you drive/live/park really close to the coast every day, id say just go with preventative measures and you should be fine

simota1 12-17-2013 03:17 PM

thanks lost sol  just for everyone to see

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...ti_425x293.jpg

sexiest burnt titanium lugs ive seen.... ;)

fairz 12-17-2013 05:19 PM

285$ for lug nuts.... I am having a life decision on whether I should spend extra on vinyl wrap... different lives indeed! :inoutroflpuke:
