I knew when it went on it was a temporarily thing. That's less than half of what a good paintjob would cost.

Just a little update, the cup kit is supposed to show up Wednesday. Hoping the install is uneventful and I can get the car back on the road by the weekend. Starting to withdrawal a little bit! Lol

Not Z related but my dad just took delivery of his newest toy... Started its life as a 1967 GT350, and was built from the ground up. This is a official licensed "Eleanor" car, and my god was it fun to drive. So different then what I am used to. Figured you guys would enjoy some photos.

konsta 12-15-2014 10:58 AM

Wow that is sexy. Definitely one of the cars on my list

GaleForce 12-15-2014 11:37 AM

Wow I bet it is, I remember driving a 69 one a few years ago it was a blast to drive even though it was a 6 cylinder. Can't imagine how fun the v8 would be.

Who doesn't love the look of a classic stang, that's probably the only one I'd own

I agree I have always been a sucker for the 67 fast back, even before Gone in 60 Seconds came out

I want a motor shot, interior shot, trunk shot, undercarriage shot, along with a shot of vodka. Don't hold out. I'm sure many others will agree.

So what about his GTR......keep or not?

Will probably go out there and drive with him this weekend so I will definitely get some pictures.

Still has the GTR, 458, and a CLS63 for his DD. I always tell him I would ever be able to decide what to drive if I were in his shoes.

Agreed, definitely blessed to have a dad so into cars. The Z can definitely hold its own with everything except for the panty dropper department. Its amazing how many girls walk right up to you in the 458 or stang.

I know I know, :worthless:

Mr Blake, thank you for sharing the great photos of your fathers new

98intrigue 12-17-2014 11:24 PM

I'm about an hour away. Simi Valley area.

Just picked up a Vbox sport. Curious what 0-60/100 times il be able to pull. Should be fun.

Amuse370z 12-18-2014 05:04 AM

I don't use Instagram much but I'm pretty sure I followed you last week after seeing your car randomly, haha.

TerribleONE 12-19-2014 10:38 AM

Did you find anyone to work with yet on an air setup? Please don't go full bags! (Unless you guys don't have canyon roads then F it)

No, nothing. I'm probably going to scrap the idea. I'm more worried about getting in and out of parking lots more than anything. I should give Umbrella a call.

I will definitely let you know how I like the kit. I do have to say that the guy was kind of an *** when I talked to him directly, but I think he kind of owns that market so maybe I was expecting to much.

That's no reason to have attitude. :shakes head:

Maybe you caught him on a bad day. :ugh2:

I have a vendor that's just an *******. Being the only kid on the block to supply a certain piece of offshore equipment I guess allows you to be an ***. I just don't operate that way. I'll treat you with respect until you **** me. Then it's on like neck bone

Yea, who knows. Definitely unacceptable. Especially when all these items are wants and not needs.. I know Lance from NLP has heard the same thing from other people.

You said it brother. I am not going to lie, I probably would have bought the kit new just to avoid any potential issues with used parts but after talking to him it would have been hard to send him any of my money.

It amazes me how business owners act. Especially in the car seen. They have to know that we all talk and recommend people. There's no way to put a dollar on lost business for being an ***
