Thanks guys. Definitely cleans up the engine bay a lot. Wish there was a replacement for our stock power steering reservoir. May have to push FI to make one with their new CNC machine.

Funny enough, I almost bought the Zele Radiator Shroud for the extra $150 when John told me that the Top Secret B Pillars were discontinued and just not off their website yet.

Looks like a great piece!
How was fitment? Any rubbing on the sides or where the hood latches at all?

Also what you doing with the other CF radiator shroud you had on at the FI sponsored Super Car Sunday when I saw you last.. let me know if you're looking to let it go

That was the zele one I just hadn't updated my build thread. Fits great and I am very happy with it. Havent noticed any rubbing issues or anything like that.

Ahh that makes sense then. It did look really good sitting in the engine bay there at Super car Sunday. I will still probably look into the Carbon Fiber Radiator shroud sooner or later here.

I know that some other brands have had issues with fitment around the latch area and the corners

Yea I was concerned about that as well since it is a oddly shaped piece but no issues here. Highly recommend it.

JDM all the things!

FINALLY got my amuse strut bar. Was scheduled to be delivered Monday and lucky for me my GF had the day off so I asked she hang around the house to make sure it gets delivered. At around 11:20AM I get a text saying they attempted delivery but there wasn't a authorized recipient. :shakes head: Get home and check my cameras after not finding a call tag and sure enough the guy didn't even get out of his truck.

Gotta love USPS

Thank you!! Really happy with the way the bar looks in person as well.

Now I just need to look into getting a custom sub box made as its a shame to cover it with the zenclosures box.

Gotta love having video cameras right? You should have them refund part of the shipping cost for fraud with video documentation of said fraud

Anyways haha I have the same problem with FedEx around my area and in my apartment complex. They won't go to the manager's office or anything other than leaving the package at the door. They straight up drop it at the door and that's it no matter what the package worth. I always put a note in there for FedEx to leave in manager's office if tenant is not home for that reason. They have done it the 4 other times I put the note and the shipping company defaults to FedEx from the company I am purchasing the items.
USPS and UPS surprisingly put stuff automatically that is not in a mail envelope in the managers office.. The R1 titan shift knob could have easily fit in the mail box, but it was in my managers office.

Going to run the zenclosures box for now but its definitely on my to do list as I love having that 12 in the Z for when I am just cruising PCH or on the freeway. Stereo stays off on the streets and canyons so I can hear those Tial BOVs

Yea man it was one of the first things I did when I moved in. Have no blind spots in the front yard/backyard or the garage. The added piece of mind is well worth the couple hundred bucks I spent on it.

I may bring a copy of the video on my phone to the post office and see what I can do but I am thinking since its USPS they are just gonna tell me to **** off. Frustrating to say the least as I now have 300$ into shipping on that but you gotta pay to play and I will take some responsibility because I wasn't watching the tracking the first time.

After your first go around, this $hit happens? Fuck those a$$holes :shakes head:

Tell them you had to take an unpaid holiday to wait for the package and go after those mofos for lost pay as well as shipping costs.

Still need to install the harness bar/harnesses and the amuse strut bar. Hoping to maybe tackle that this Saturday if its not too hot.

On another note, when my car was at Sebs for a oil change and a once over on the TT kit and everything we noticed that somehow my SPC camber arms (I know I should have SPL) don't match  I am using this as a good reason to upgrade to SPL and I guess these will be going in the trash.

He came back to visit and we did a shoot but that was months ago. I probably have at least 80-100 shots that I haven't posted here from him. :rofl2:

Planning to do another the next time he is in SoCal.

Well after around 3 years and ~10K boosted miles (around half of this on E85) I had the first problem with my car last night. Went out to a car meet for a little and the car drove totally fine on the way there. Hung out for about an hour and when I went to start my car to leave I didn't hear my fuel pump prime. Went to fire the car up and it started and quit. Did it 1-2 more times thinking it was just a fluke with the same result. Take a look at my fuel pressure gauge and its reading just above 0.. First thing I did was check the fuse for the pump and it was fine, knowing I would not be able to tow the car I called Tony at around 10PM just to see if there was anything else I could check that I wasn't thinking of. Long story short Tony got out of bed, went to the shop to grab a fuel pump and all the needed tools, and came and swapped the fuel pump out in the parking lot.

This is what separates Fast Intentions from the rest. I don't think there are any shops out there (if any) that will offer that kind of support ESPECIALLY that late at night (we did not get done till about 1AM)

I am now running the Aeromotive 340 E85 specific pump and will be buying a crash bar/tow hook from F.I. as long as it works with my amuse bumper.

F.I. FTMFW

Seriously man! Makes all that time they had my car so worth it because if not I would have probably ended up with a GTM kit and we all know where that would have taken me.

cigarclifford 06-14-2016 10:53 AM

Yea he actually didn't pick up and I figured he was asleep and was prepping to spend the night in my car :rofl2: but he called back just a few minutes later. This was not convenient for him in the slightest bit either (obviously) With the drive to the shop and then to me I was at least 40 minutes away from his house.

We need a praise Fast intentions smiley.. Lol

There are a few really good ones and then the rest...

:iagree:

It is very hard to find quality shops/people in this industry. Couldn't be happier that I met Tony back when I had my G37 6-7 years ago.

jwick 06-14-2016 11:35 AM

I know. Sasha has done me right the whole time and my tuner (JTran Motorsports) has gone above and beyond for me on several occasions.

carlitos_370z 06-14-2016 12:28 PM
