[QUOTE=TerribleONE;3114804]Thanks man. Havent done anything at all besides switching to Motul oil when I did the fuel system. I am careful and dont stomp on it when its really warm out and try not to load it up to much. (low RPM 5-6th gear pulls) FI builds one hell of a kit and Seb can tune his *** off.

Well... that's quite impressive, a very stout engine, great kit and tuner and a smart and wise owner that takes great care of the equipment:tiphat:

SXZ34 02-18-2015 08:36 PM

Man the current exterior is sick. My hour long search today led me to your build. I remember it from the initial FI kit and Zdayz 13 but I didn't know it was white again. My question though is do you have more pictures of the front end. I have Aerojacket full carbon amuse front and sides and I was considering leaving both areas carbon that you did... Also on Pearl white and I just want as good of an idea of what it will look like as I can get

Thanks man. Yea I will post some up later tonight.

Went and filled up with E85 last night. I love paying 2.25 a gallon.

SXZ34 02-19-2015 11:51 AM

Awesome. Thanks man. I love the idea of both areas accented. Especially in Carbon, I'm thinking it may be a little much for what I'm doing though. I'm making a custom fiberglass splitter to go under the bumper, so it will accent it even more even though it will be a very mild splitter (mainly for a little added protection of my freshly painted bumper haha. I'd rather crack it than crack Pearl white paint.)

Yea I was on the fence about doing it that way but am glad I went that route mainly because its different then all the other PW amuse cars. It MAY look a little overdone with a customer splitter as well.

Yeah that's my only thought. And I'm probably just going to paint it myself in a satin or gloss black. I thought about laying the visible portion in cf but again.. It's sole purpose will be protecting the bumper. No sense in getting to fancy. But I love your look and it was literally the only one I could find that had both areas carbon and not just accented with paint. So it's definitely unique. I'm a simple guy with visual mods though, I dont want to get too crazy.. But I also like being unique. I'll also be running nismo wheels for quite a while which I think look great with the kit... But definitely don't add the same pop that aftermarket wheels do with a more "stand out" paint scheme/body styling

I know I am bummed but I am laying sideskirt in the canyons when I push it hard. Gonna try raising it just a tad and stiffening things up a little.

The SoCal one? I am not sure. If I can find a crew of people from SoCal to drive out there with I'm down.

TerribleONE 03-20-2015 09:35 AM

Just a little update, car got raised up and is not scraping in the twisties anymore but it definitely killed the look. I am going to keep playing around with it until I get the look I want without sacrificing performance. I will try and post up some more photos from my shoot with Hyprpwr today.

Oh, and T.G.I.F.

You've seen most of them on IG, but of course not everyone is on there so it wouldn't be fair to hold out on the rest of you guys! I am hoping to do another shoot with Ryan sometime soon.

It would be very cool if we could get a few shots of both our cars together. Just putting that out there...

600+ Is awesome. When will the madness end? Just curious. What are you doing to keep wheel spin in check?

OS Giken and 305 PSS's help a little but I'm blasting the tires off 1-3rd when it's cold. I plan on setting up my boost controller for boost by gear soon

So you are actually the only Z I found with both of those front areas accented in Carbon and I was finally sold on it and my body guy agreed that it would look best leaving both areas carbon. I definitely could not be any happier with how it turned out, I hope its cool that I took the same route as you. I couldn't help it, it looked so good on your car! haha

I am so annoyed with my Fn car man. I don't know if its because I haven't had as much time to take her out and enjoy her, or because I spent way too much money and feel like I should have maybe just got something else. I am having nothing but problems with the cup system now. It was great when the car was slammed, but for some reason when I had it raised up its all gone downhill. The car isn't driving great, I am getting a pretty bad creaking noise (only way I can explain it) from the front end, and the idiots at the shop over tightened my e-brake and I think its dragging a little now. OH, and I found a small tear in my drivers side seat which I can only assume is just gonna get worse. (I have less then 5k miles of seat time in them and make sure I don't have anything sharp on my pants that could damage them)

Really wish I was more of a DIYer so I could avoid shops all together because they all seem to over promise and under deliver.

Anyway, rant over. Hope I can get everything taken care of and fall in love with the car again cause right now I just want to dump it and get something different. :ugh2:

Edit: Just wanted to clear this up so people don't get the wrong impression, all this work was not done by F.I. I took the car to a body/suspension shop and that's where the frustration is coming from. Tony has gone above and beyond to help correct this issue and even offered to throw the car on his lift to take a look at it when he did not even do the work to begin with. That is why I love Fast Intentions and wish they would just open up a body/suspension division :stirthepot:

Once everything is settled, you'll forget all about this. Except the seat thing:ugh2:

Yea I am just bitter. I should of just boosted it and left the rest of the car alone so I can beat it up at will. That's about the only thing I don't have issues with and that's the most serious mod I have done. Dan and Tony did a heck of a job on the TT kit, the rest of the car has been nothing but problems.

carlitos_370z 04-22-2015 12:18 PM

Bro I hope you can resolve those problems on your Z... your car is one of my favorite builds over here and you spent a lot of $$$ and time in your car to make it look and run like they do now... Trust me dont sell it... if you do it make sure is for something better... I do that already and sometimes I feel like a damn a$$hole... I sell my 2005 STi that I own for 7 years and i take that car from bone stock to a heavy modified car... To say.. not just from me... from everyone... that I own the best damn STi arround PR... I finally sell it :( cause i have issues with my mechanic.. when i send the car to his shop with all the parts to build the engine they take like 7 months to make the engine:shakes head: and every Thursday when i go to the shop i see that they have new cars to work for the same sh!t... build engines and more angry I get when I see those cars leaving the shop and my car stay in there with the old engine installed  when he finally finish the engine and I pickup the car I stay with him like for 3 or 4 month and I sell.... sorry for the long story but what I want to tell you is that be relax bro... those problems can be fixed... I dont want that you do the same that I do with the STi... If I be more intelligent in that moment... I search another shop and stay with the Subie not sell it... Anyway I buy the Z soo i dont feel so bad at all lol!

Take care bro!
