Maybe I'll get the G back on the road this week

jlo370z 07-07-2014 10:18 PM

So a week with out traction control, I will need new tires soon. Stereo is rocking, still needs some fine tuning but happy so far.
My ings carbon fiber side skirts have finally been credited, ordered fujimura cf skirts invoice says 2-3 months so I should have them just in time to put car away for season :( on the plus side I ordered some hotchkis sway bars front and rear ;)
Still need to install adjustable clutch peddle but back out of town I go

hotchkis are good. I recommend the middle setting on the rear bar. you might also have to adjust AN hose arrangement. I also had to cut a few t-bolts to clear the bar. if you are rotated correctly it might not be a problem.

oh and Teflon tape the bushing. It'll help with squeaking but still grease often

Thanks for the tips

anytime my man:tiphat:

oh and I found the knocking. it wasn't the crossover pipe on the tranny after all. the t-bolt on the charge pipe right next to the oil block adapter is hitting tge subframe. I'll fix it when I upgrade to v1.5

I need to change my oil soon , when I do I'll get under and check for ways to eliminate vibrations. No leaks since day one except for the crack on the filter plate. Pretty happy.

Don't mess with any of those AN fittings if you don't jave any leaks

without a BP turbo kit I'd say a couple hours. with one it'll all depends on how much stuff you have to massage while your in there

jlo370z 07-15-2014 06:41 PM

I'm hoping for a slip out slip in install lol

it'll all be in how you routed oil lines and if the charge pipe to the turbo sits high enough.

Just found the DIY for them, rear is simple. Will have to see front but as I can recall I should be good
