You can always powder coat them later, Rican. I may not have my F14's forever but I am glad they are burst bronze for now :)

I get compliments on them and the rest of the car everyday.

The only bad thing about swapping lugs on a car/wheels that you care about....is it takes time to make sure you don't scratch them. But, they are all done and looking awesome!

Here is a quick list of things that I would like to accomplish before NissanFest on April 19th. They are basically in order how I see fit and are in an order of most likely to accomplish to least likely to accomplish :p

This should ensure that my car is exactly how I would like it to be for the event and possibly how it will be for HIN Seattle in July

-Engine Shroud Painted (Red or Orange)
-Engine Bay Dress up bolts and washers (Red or Orange)
-Full Carbon Fiber Amuse kit installed
-Seibon Carbon Fiber Fenders installed
-3m Clear vinyl on all CF
-Strut tower brace powdercoated (Burst Bronze)
-Calipers powdercoated (unsure of color)
-Headlights reopened (Install of 70mm amber Halo and painting of shrouds)

and those fenders :)

Decided it was time to adjust my coilovers a bit in the front end. I was rubbing the plastic fender lining decently on bumps. The main issue was on the passenger side(even with no passenger). After a quick measurement it was clear I was actually about a half inch lower in the pass side. Overall I lifted the front end about 1/4 of an inch. I was beginning to fear the life and longevity of my CF fenders.

This was actually my first time adjusting coils and it was much easier than I thought. I had a friend with me who tracks his 350Z regularly and is a bit of a wiz with suspension setups. Only took about an hour to accomplish and the biggest PITA is just the bracket for the brake lines.

I'm not getting very great communication with Aerojacket pending the shipping of the Cf amuse kit. I was told it would originally be shipped last week and then again this Wednesday. I have got no response via email and they read a FB message I sent to them about 730 this morning and no response. It's beginning to get a bit irritating and pending he quality of the product, I may never return my business with them. Customer service and communication are two very important factors with business. End rant.

That's one thing I need to learn, how to setup my Coilovers. I'm gonna install them in the next couple days and I understand how to lower them, but all of the compression/rebound/dampening stuff I'm not familiar with yet. I don't need a super track set up, just want it to handle better which I think they will no matter what, I just want to make sure I don't have them all jacked up lol.

Zdayz 2014!!

Riptide67 03-29-2014 12:08 PM

It's actually super simple to adjust them and I have my dampening set to 17 all around. I love the way it handles and rebounds. And I now have the added bonus of not rubbing the plastic fender liners haha!
