I have Sam's tune on the car right now but we can't adjust it. It's idling at ~600rpm.

@ 600rpm is partly why your oil pressure is a little low,but you said when you blip the throttle it will go to like 40psi which is fine.

Oil pressure increases with rpm's. Afr's should be anywhere from 13(rich end) to 16(lean end) in idle and cruise. In boost I wouldn't want to see it above 11.7:1 really

There is nothing bad about my info. How long have you been tuning cars? I digress though. I've only been tuning and turbo-ing for three years.

FIY - I was posting limits. Like I would be worried if it was going above or below those limits. But apparently I don't know what I'm talking about.

You don't if you and your buddy have only tuned 1 FI 370 thats not enough to make a that much of a general statement,Dmhenderson worries enough about his car and now it's FI even more so,any info that is not close to on the money is not helpful in this thread.

What was so general about my statement? A car will run at idle or regular (non-boosted) driving at practically any afr. You could cruise full lean of you want or dump fuel into the 10's. Should you do that? No but it won't kill it. Yes you want to aim around 14.7:1 for idling and cruising but there are variances that will make that impossible to do that all the time.

Boost is a different story. But why would running .2 more air effect it to the point od being up driveable? Guess what it won't. It won't blow the engine up. Will it be sub optimal? Maybe Idk I dont have enough time on a dyno with the car.

Again I was posting limits, so he could ease his mind. Like "oh its not exactly 11.5:1 no worries" now if it starts creeping past then in full boost then its time to go back to a tuner.

Some it takes a little away from top end but fills in a little in the midrange.

Eh. I'll just keep it and swap out the HFCs for ART pipes. The MD manifold has a bulge if you try to mount the stock engine cover anyway.

So I woke up this morning after not driving at all yesterday (due to rain). Let the car warm up and drove to work and now my oil pressure is much higher. 40 at idle and 80 when driving.

What gives? Is that a function of outside temperature?

That's what I figured. Just wanted to be sure. Day 3 and no leaks or issues. Talked to Bill at Moore over the weekend and he's going to get the tune situation sorted out with Uprev and GTM today and then schedule some time to come in and finish the tune(s)
