So i have a poll going on here about changing my colour of the Z. Its @66% yes.
What u guys think goin back to the old Datsun British Racing Green???? http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1421539174 photoshop courtesy of CoolToy http://www.the370z.com/attachments/n...enmetallic.jpg |
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
nooo! from a fellow 40th owner. but at the end of day its your car :)
Why would you spend the money on repaint? If you go quality work, that's boost $$$...
I'm not attached to the 40th color since I don't have one so I say go for it on the British Racing Green... I might be biased though as I've had two different cars sport that color over the years. Also haven't really seen any nice looking Z34s in green so far.
I kind of like that green. But, boost is nice.

Btw.... It would "ONLY" be a wrap.... I would never paint over the original 40th paint:tup:
If it's a wrap, go for it
Why not plastidip? It's cheaper and will look better too
I'm NOT a wrap fan. It looks ok but for the $$, you can almost get paint. If that's the case, leave her alone.. =) I think like you. I saved all my oem Nismo parts as I swap things out. I now have a crap ton of stuff everywhere in the house..

Maintaining the wrap is difficult as per my experience unless you use the car hardly and the new look feel goes very quickly.
Got a 40th as well getting moonbeam kit installed now was thinking of changing the colour but in the last moment dropped the idea and just got the body kit pieces painted, as thought of keeping same colour just because of the anniversary edition. |
if is wrap hell yeah!!!!!
I still think dipping will be cheaper and looks way better than any wrap I've seen

On another note....
I finalized the offsets and the wheels are now in production. Went nice and clean with 19x10" -7 & 19x12" -7. (4"/6") |
Nice... We need photos ASAP ;)
I absolutely hated my wrap. From the upkeep, to shrinkage and bubbling. I will definitely not be wrapping a car again.

Which wheels you went with, we have got similar kits on similar car :)
Are you sure with the Offsets? seems little less then required or at least what I got from Ravspec. Check with Mark at Ravspec he has done lots of work in figuring our right offsets for lowered Z with Moonbeam |

Plus im going full functional tire, meaning full size, not stretched. I talked with the offset guru at AG Forged and this is what he came up with to have "full size" tires with minimum camber:tup:
Thank you for considering function as well as form. ha ha Can't wait to see progress on the build.
