You are correct, that will be the only thing that someone else will do on my car. Well unless you count Sasha installing his kit, but I was there for most of it seen it all come together.

And thanks!

Great build on a 40th, don't know how I missed this one lol. Awesome!

I agree the black housing on our color will look great, I did mine and a friends also. Makes a noticible difference.

I got a email from Raul last night, the lights showed up along with the door handles I got off ebay. He said hes going to get to them this weekend, not that there is a huge rush to get them back.

And yes I blame Sasha for starting this whole build, I had no intention of doing this until I seen he was from Edmonton. I been over to his place a few times now and seen a bunch of the projects he has had on the go.

Thanks O&G, I have been through your build a bunch of times! You have a wicked car as well! I am actually paying for this build with my side business custom tuning Duramax (and some Cummins) trucks. I have been doing it now for 3-4 years and have over 300 trucks tuned around North America. I also tune for a few shops locally. That is my second truck, my first one had some mods but the body started to fall apart so I upgraded to this one. Here are a few picks of my old one at the track (left side)

This run with with a build Trans, lift pump, and my tuning. Stock intake stock exhaust stock everything else. haha.

Considering the Dmax is an Isuzu engine it should shape up to be a pretty sweet truck. Not much beats the torque of a Diesel. It makes driving it in the winter bearable, lol. It would be that much worse if I didnt have a nice truck.

So I spent a couple hours in the garage and finished plumbing up the EBC. I was able to use the bracket on the passengers side of the engine that holds part of the engines wire harness.

I was able to use the supplied hardware and mounting bracket that came with the EVC-6 as shown in the picture. What I ended up doing was drilling and tapping the passenger boost tube to run the EVC solenoid through instead of T'ing into the one on the drivers side. If someone see's where I may run into issues please let me know, but the way I see it all the EVC is doing is modulating pressure, and the pressures between the two boost tubes should be almost the same. This allowed me to mount it on the passenger side and keep the tubing down to a minimum.

I also drilled and tapped the manifold for the blow off valve as illustrated in Sasha's manual. For my boost/vac gauges I am just going to T into the brake booster line at the back, after doing a bunch of research it seems this will work just fine instead of having it on its own dedicated port on the intake manifold.

Still waiting for my gauges to show up to finish up the engine bay :)

1st half of my suspension stuff came in yesterday! Still waiting on the Camber arms and rear adjusters. As far as changing the springs over does anyone recommend a good spring compressor? I might just say screw it and take it to a shop to do it for me quickly, I HATE springs, any kind of springs. I have tore up my knuckles so many times growing up because of them. This was usually from removing exhausts from snowmobiles, anyone that has an older one knows what I am talking about. haha.

I tried doing my springs with regular cheapie spring clamps. The Swift coils are so close together I couldn't get it safely compressed so I took it to a shop. They even had a bit of trouble. Anyways, they charged me $40 cash. I had the struts and springs out, just handed them the parts, then took them home as a complete unit and reinstalled.
