Also some of you already know, but I had the hatch open with the back wheels off the ground and it was to high and hit the garage door openinger :( Left a pretty good scuff on the spoiler. I am going to try and see how much a detailing shop can get out, if its unrepairable I might either just plasti dip it for now or wrap it. :(

That looks like most of the transfer was from the door, not the car... It should buff out with swirl remover and an aggressive polisher like the porter cable or similar.

I hope so, I just dont want to burn the paint. Ill find a professional to do it or someone who has done it before. Fingers crossed.

It's uber simple if you have the Porter Cable or Flex polisher. Random Orbital FTW...

Once we're on the road with these things I can have a look at it for you. No big deal!

Appreciated, The only power tool I got for cleaning is this thing. Not sure if it is heavy duty enough or not.

Run away... be afraid!

The Flex is awesome (Lounge member NuffZed has it) and most of us have the Porter Cable (from Rona for about $159). The Flex has higher RPM and is a bit newer but the PC is very good too. Can't damage the paint unless you drop it on the hood! lol

lol. Ill just do the whole car by hand and then worry about the spoiler later. Its not noticeable unless your closely looking at the car anyways.

Ordered up some RE11's today :). Got them for $1665 to my door which I figured was not to bad.

Did you get the wire/fuse situation rectified?

Yup I guess I should update that thread. What happened was that the small wires running to the gauges shorted out. Not sure why the fuse showed continuity that one night I checked them all. But looking at it closer it was pretty evident that it was blown. I pulled the nav out and disconnected the pigtail I added to it and have had 0 issues since. I have since ran a fused connection to the same power source as the oil pump for the turbo, so if that fails my gauges will turn off. Seems to be an all around better idea anyways.

Good choice on the tires. For me it was between the RE11's and the AD08's for my 350z. The AD08's won because they come in 295's, and RE11's did not. They hold the 460whp, no traction problems at all.

I am very happy with the choice. James has the RE11's and I think he is happy with them.

Glad to hear, I pretty much went through the forum looking for reviews and it was between this or the V12s. I went with 305's in the back, hopefully they tuck in there nice.

Everything I read on the RE11's was positive, from the traction down to the wear. Little pricey but I figured not a bad idea to have the traction when your boosted.

That was my last big thing to buy, looks like we will be installing the traction control here shortly and then its just a matter of waiting for the roads to clear up to get the rubber on and an alignment done. Still trying to work out deals for the clutch install.

I dont think I have checked the weather forecast so much before. haha.

Thanks Mark, I hope to bring it out a bunch. It will be my daily driver this summer, rain and shine. I have learned alot about this car over the winter that's for sure.
