A metal undershroud from Joe at Z-Speed is on the list. I'm holding out because the shipping for the part is almost as much as the part itself. I hate the IDE of spending that much money on shipping. :ughdance:

I want to get an under shroud to :stirthepot: think we could see if anyone else is interested in trying to get a mini GB for ONT owners with one central pick location to save on shipping. Worked good for my oil cooler I got......mind you there was supposed to be 7 kits ordered in the end it was only 3 :icon14: kinda RETODDED! But I still got it for cheaper (total price shipped everything) then listed here on the site at z1

Z1 Motorsports 370Z/G37 Oil Cooler Kit

EDIT: Stupid link wouldn't save the info selected :shakes head:

You want black or silver?

LMBmikeZ 07-24-2013 07:48 PM

I was thinking black

GaleForce 07-24-2013 07:56 PM

I'll call Joe later this week. Let me know if you have any other serious buyers, but for now I'll ask about getting 2 black ones.

LMBmikeZ 07-24-2013 08:08 PM

sounds good, I just asked who I thought would be 100% down but he says he's not interested in under shroud so :ugh2: mah all good

Idk if this helps or hurts but I'm in Florida and I'm down for a GB on the shrouds. I need one.

On the topic of running stuff over, I hit a huge chunk of tire while on a quick cruise to make sure I wasn't leaking oil after an oil change. I still had the shroud off. I hit this thing hard, and it tore a wire under the car that affected my power steering. I didn't realize it until I had to turn off on a cloverleaf exit, it caught me by surprise and I had to struggle for a quick second to keep it on the road. I got back under the car and luckily it had just broken a plastic electrical plug, so I was able to repair it and tuck it back up there, then put the shroud on. If its not one thing it's another.

I survived Zdayz 2013... (barely)

I thought about the metal shroud but with our relocated oil filters the door to change the filter is kind of useless. :/ either way I guess you have to pull either the stock one or this one to change the oil.

Yeah that's how I was thinking about it. I was removing the undershroud before the filter relocation so no big deal to me.

kenchan 07-25-2013 04:33 PM

is that metal undershroud opening even big enough to screw off the filter without getting drips on the top side of the shroud?
