The car will be going up on jack stands hopefully this afternoon. Looks like I'll be doing an early oil change and swap out the bad fitting, I bought an extra just in case. It's almost like I can see into the future. :rofl2:

I'm going Earl when I replace all the lines with the V1.5 upgrade. They are more expensive but it is what it is.

FYI...I have another small leak, source unknown at the moment. Goes on the lift Friday for inspection and general kit checkup.

:ugh:

There's such a thing as too much alcohol:ugh2:

Retract all my previous statements. My BAC is causing all the leaks:bowrofl:

Professional Toronto Photographer Daniel Camer has edited some photos. They look incredible! I will post some up tomorrow.

Yep, sucks. Worrying about an oil leak is the last thing I want to do when driving/boosting. I was so pissed last night that the thought of going back to NA crossed my mind. :shakes head:

I am thinking, maybe Sasha should look into using higher quality lines since some of us are having issues with the oil lines.

He already did that. The most recent kits built he used all aeromotive fittings. Those are basically tier one products. We are still having issues.

I wanted to try Earl. From what I read Earl and Russell were the go to fittings. I went Russell because they were the only ones available locally. No leak my a$$ :ugh2:

I'm going Earl. I'm also wondering if I should use Earl hose too. It's way more expensive than Russell, like over 50% more. Just trying to justify the additional cost. I can't see that much difference in hose and that's not where my issues have been.

I don't know if there is any difference in hose, but from what I was reading, it's not advisable to use the ends from one manufacturer with the hose from another manufacturer. Possibly the hose wall thickness is different, and the fittings compensate for it, but there are no specs, or proof to back that up. I'm calling voodoo on the brand "x" fitting must use brand "x" hose.

I'll probably breakdown and buy the Earl hose too.

On a side note. Did I ever send you the pics from my real camera of the a-pillar? I know I took them just I can't recall if I emailed them to you. Alcohol does a number on your brain cells:ugh2:

Just checking. I still need to send you the passenger side pillar so we can make it match the driver but keep forgetting to pull it and ship it. I might just wait until Oct when I pick up the DD. It'll be hard not to tell Johnny to turn up the boost when it no longer is required to get be back and forth to work.:driving:

No rush on the other pillar. That offer is open to you as long as if I can get the dye.

You da man. I'll make sure to double check dye availability before I mail it and it just randomly shows up on your doorstep:tup:

Russell fitting has been replaced. Test drive with Mrs.Force tomorrow. Hoping for no leaks *fingers crossed*
