Any fitment experts following my thread?

Toying with this idea....

Front

20x10 offset 25 with 275/30/20

Rear

20x10.5 offset 22 with 285/30/20

My current set-up is,

Front
19x9.5 offset 20 with 255/35/19

Rear
19x11 offset 18 with 305/30/19

Thoughts?

In the front you will basically be the same on the outer face and almost 1/2" more (closer to engine bay) on the inner face. Rear is almost 1/2" further out on the outer face (away from car) and almost the almost the same as current on the inner face. Not sure how much room you have in there, especially since Chuck's Z is the only one I've been under for an extended amount of time.

What I don't have a good feeling for is the extra 1" in diameter.

Any time I see a 370 that makes me say "damn, that's a good fitment," it's usually on 20"s. The fact that there is practically no sidewall sucks, but 20"s look great on our cars.

I think the rears will be fine. Mine are 20x10.5 +20 with lots of room on 285/30/20
(camber kit required)
Edit: i think with 275/30/20 in the front you'll have serious issues rubbing.

carlitos_370z 08-05-2014 09:41 AM

well bro i dont like too much the 20" wheels... just my personal opinion... if you want to get out a little more your front wheels why you dont try a lower offset in the front? like me... i have a 19x9.5+12 up front and 19x11+15 rear... i think the car looks great.. like i say bro its my personal opinion

BTW i like how your car looks right now ;)

According to my go to wheel fitment web site, the overall diameter of the 20" set-up is closer in spec to the factory overall diameter than my current set-up.

Front 0.83% different from stock

Rear -0.57% different from stock

These particular wheels only come in 20" the offsets and sizes I listed are the best option I can figure out.

We all agree the rears are no problem. The front will probably rub... rub what? and how badly?

Hey how's your overflow reservoir coming?

futurez 08-05-2014 09:24 PM

Looks AWESOME Gale!! That support and the radiator overflow tank are the 2 worst things Nissan did in the engine bay, I can't stand the look of them they look cheap!! If you decide to make more of that support cover let me know how much I might be interested.

I think I was the first pre-order... Now it's approaching GTM status. Looks like I'll be making my own. :ugh2:
