Meh. If I was that picky (I am) shît like this would never get done. It's been on the back burner for a while. I was waiting for the rest of the mods to be installed (seats), then do a photo shoot this summer. Honestly, if my Wife didn't look after this herself like she did, I probably wouldn't have carried through with it. It was/is an awesome surprise and I'm blown away that she thought to do this for me.

Brilliant as always, really loving the bar and thats a great wife to make that mod list for you.

Mine would have just freaked out about how many mods were on the list lol.

Thanks :tiphat:

I had the idea of the bar in my head for a while and recently found time to follow through with it. I'm still on the fence about the look. I'll keep it this way for a little while to see if it grows on me. It's easy enough to paint the entire thing to match the exterior.

Mrs.Force just took my Christmas Newyears card that I sent to select individuals last year to the sign shop. Apparently the sign shop had to input the list, when they sent the proof to my wife for approval she asked them to add "custom steering wheel" because she knows I have one coming. They didn't send another proof after the addition... aaaaaaand that is where the problem happened.

Damn Jason! That bar looks sick!

Lugnuts have been shipped.

Steering wheel is creeping past the due date.

Working on getting burnt Ti hardware.

Wiggins3377 06-20-2014 08:17 AM

Jason who did you go with for the Titan hardware? Decent price?

I'm finding that after doing the wire relocation mod I have a lot of open spots to put dress up bolts. If im going to buy more, I think I may just update to titanium and get license plate and steering wheel hardware at the same time.

I should know more after this weekend. The hardware guys are putting together a kit and pricing for the 370z as we speak. I'll message you when I get more details.

What did you do for the wire relocation? Pics in your build thread? I should be looking at do it too.

I followed O&Gs DIY. Its very basic. I took my time with it so Ive been working on it a little everyday since Sunday. Just finished and putting my car back together this weekend. I'm going to be do a full blown tuck, fender mold and PS reservoir relocation in the next couple months (hopefully before IA Kentucky) with Rid3-FaMOuS.

Ill post some pics of it this weekend. Sim also helped me along the way when I had questions. Love this forum and the people who contribute to it.

370z Forum > all others.

No problem man. There are definitely a few gaps in his DIY, but I should be able to help you out. Like I said I took my time and tried to get rid of as much loom in my bay as possible then replaced it with neatly wrapped electrical tape. If you started early I bet you could get it done in a day. Just hit me up on facebook with questions
